Who are you and what do you do?
Answer:

I'm Master Crash Klay, music producer, song writer, lyricist, arranger.

How does your background play into this song?
Answer:

All my experiences as a Foundational Black American are expressed, through my lyrics and music. Theres a rich history of revolt and revolution in the U.S. to pull from.

What is your earliest memory of listening to music?
Answer:

My mother playing Dionne Warwick, they went to school together. Also when she brought her eight track componant set. Funk was in the air. Issac Hayes, sly stone ect.

At what moment in your life did you decide to become an artist / performer?
Answer:

When I heard Rappers delight,  been doin hiphop ever sense.

What genres does this release play into?
Answer:

This release is Jersey Hip Hop all the way.

What themes do you explore throughout your music?
Answer:

There are many themes, fighting the system of oppression, police brutally and racism which effects FBA's in the U.S.

How has your sound and style evolved in the last 3 years?
Answer:

Songs are shorter, but the subject matter is more intense. The music is produced faster.

If you could go on tour with any artist, who would it be and why?
Answer:

I like to tour with NAS, He's a great lyricist, Also P.E. comes to mind. Great live performance.

How would you describe your favorite artist's music to someone who has never heard them before?
Answer:

My favorite artist is Curtis Mayfield. He's psychedelic soul, smooth, yet energetic. He's soul personified, R&B with a grassroots message.

How would you describe your music to someone who has never heard it before?
Answer:

Smooth energetic, resistance music, diffently New Jersey Hip Hop.

What is your overarching goal as an artist?
Answer:

To bring resistance music, into the for front, and spread the message world wide.
