What has been your most embarassing moment while pursuing music?
Answer:

The first time I performed I froze on stage. I was eighteen and it was a talent show. I ended up snapping outta of it, and performed better than anyone else.

If you could alter the music industry in any way, what would you change and why?
Answer:

If I could alter the music industry, I would take out the imitators and expose the real Artists. The really gifted and inspiring Artists. The Artists that really spoke through their music in experience.

What jobs have you done other than being an artist?
Answer:

I used to be a catering chef. Used to be a Nurse Assistant/Certified Nurse Assistant. Those were the two main jobs that I have done. I quit being a chef because, music drives me. And I stopped working as a Nurse because, I get attached to people kind of easily and someone passed away on my day off that I was close to. Just couldn't take the death ordeal.

How have your other passions reinforced your process of making music?
Answer:

My other passions reinforces my destiny by helping me recognize that being a Hip Hop Autistic Artist is what I was born to do.

Has being an artist made your life lonely? How do you counteract this?
Answer:

It can. Me being an Artist though, has actually made me more extrovert than introvert. My career as an Autistic Artist has brought me out of my shell of introversy and helped me shine bright like the star that I am.

How would you define having an artistic outlook on life?
Answer:

Life is creation. As an Artist, I create. It's just what I do. Life was meant to be creative so I create. All the things that I go through in life I write about. In order to stand out from the rest, I have to be creative in ways no one has seen before.

What is your favorite work of art?
Answer:

My favorite work of art was Picasso. He was a very artistic person. His work stands out to the world. He is very unique and captivating through his creations.

Which mediums of art do you most identify with?
Answer:

The mediums of art that I identify with is the pencil, pen, and paper.

Name three artists you’d like to be compared to.
Answer:

YG, X-Rated, and Keek Da Sneak.

What is the most significant lesson you've learned through being an artist?
Answer:

The most significant lesson I've learned while being an Artist, is that I can express myself through music, and I can freely do it. I don't have to care about judgements, or opinions. Music helps me be me. It's my voice and was my first voice.

Do you have one main reason driving you to continue making music?
Answer:

Yes I do. My one main drive is to change music for the better by giving people hope to feel a freedom through listening to my music and what I have to say. I've never really had a voice befoe I did music. I was very introvert and lonely. I felt like I did when I was abandoned at the airport when I was five. I felt helpless. Music has changed that for me in a amazing way. 

What is your overarching goal as an artist?
Answer:

To be a worldwide phenomenon. I want to be a legendary Artist who accomplished and achieved when I was told I wouldn't. When I was told I wouldn't be anyone or anything. My goal is to reach as many people as I can, and let them know through my music that music is for everyone. It's food for the soul. 

What drives you to continue writing music?
Answer:

People, life experiences, and freedom.

What has been your scariest experience while pursuing music?
Answer:

My scariest experience was when I was homeless, my music was stolen. I was afraid that they would use my music as their own. 

Name a song that best represents success to you, and why?
Answer:

"DOWN BELOW" By Roddy Rich. That song represents success and survival. It speaks about my story a little bit. Sleeping on the floor, not having anything to eat, yet still striving for success and to be successful.

What role do you believe the artist has in our society?
Answer:

To inspire and be creative.

How do you plan on being a game-changer within your genre?
Answer:

My Autism is what makes my music such a game changer within the Hip Hop community.

What is your definition of success as an artist? How do you measure this success?
Answer:

My definition of success as an Artist is, when my music touches people's lives. When my music can help somebody get through something tough, or when my music can inspire and reach people. I measure this success by writing what I live, overcome, and embrace. 

What is the most memorable response you've had to your work?
Answer:

The most memorable response I've had to my craft is "THIS IS AN AMAZING SONG. IT DESERVES RADIO PLAY", she said. 

Do you practice? How has your practice changed over time?
Answer:

I do practice as a matter of fact. I practice by listening to my music over and over again. I have learning disabilities, so I have to listen to my songs over and over again to memorize them. Practicing has changed over time, by improving in areas and in ways that's satisfying.

What is your favorite way of sharing your music?
Answer:

My favorite way of sharing music is in person.

What three words would you want your fanbase to use to describe you?
Answer:

The three words I'd want my fan base to describe me as would be phenomenal, inspiring, and unique. 

What do you want people to feel when they listen to your music?
Answer:

I want people to feel connected.

What do you want people to feel when they listen to your music?
Answer:

I want people to feel connected.

Who is your dream artist or musician to collaborate with?
Answer:

Missy Elliot would definitely be the Artist I would collab with. We could bring each other's sound out more. Our song would make the Billboards. Top of the charts, however you wanna look at it. 

What is the strangest place where you have discovered a new song?
Answer:

I was using the bathroom, when I felt this urge come from my gut to write. So I wrote and came out with my song called "1 MINUTE 2 MINUTES" .

What does your dream performance look like?
Answer:

Millions of people cheering me on. I can hear the crowd cheering me on, knowing my songs, and giving me their full attention. I can see flashing lights, and the feeling that I'm meant to be there. It's coming. I WILL make it in the music industry.

If you could only listen to three artists for the rest of your life, who would you choose and why?
Answer:

E-40, Missy Elliot, and Busta Rhymes. I chose these three Artists because, their music never dies, gets played out, or gets boring. These three Artists are still very well-known to this day. These three Artists are Legends who have left their imprint on my life. Their music always makes me feel better and inspired to write and record some of my own creations of Hip Hop.

What is your favorite song you have made, and why?
Answer:

"JUST LOOK" is one of my favorite songs. I love this track because, this was the first track that I played around with the lyrics doing something new. This is the track that lead to a lot of other tracks.

If you could attend a performance by any artist, dead or alive, who would you choose and why?
Answer:

Missy Elliot. Missy Elliot was one of the most top Artists in the industry in the 90's. To this day, you can play one of her songs and it feels like it was just recorded that day. Her sound is new but old. Shes just very gifted.

How would you describe your music to someone who has never heard it before?
Answer:

My music is made for every feeling you feel, every thought you think, and every mood you have. My music can touch you, tickle you, and make you feel awww.

How would you describe your favorite artist's music to someone who has never heard them before?
Answer:

E-40 is my favorite Artist. His music will get you laughing and dancing. He's just so real. He makes you feel something exciting when you play his music.

If you could go on tour with any artist, who would it be and why?
Answer:

E-40 because, he's from the Bay Area too. His music is kinda like mine. He is an outspoken type of Artist. He speaks about a lot of truth. He gives wisdom and game throughout his music. He inspires me to be a role model and not just an Artist.

What themes do you explore throughout your music?
Answer:

The themes I explore throughout my music is more of a club banger type johnra. I dibble and dabble with Hip Hop/RnB type themes.

How has your sound and style evolved in the last 3 years?
Answer:

My style and sound are very unique, but I'm great at what I do. In the last three years, I have evolved in many ways. I've learned how to blend my lyrics with the beat. I've only improved. There's always room for improvement. I can only get better. I still have a lot to learn. And I'm open to learn. 

What genres does this release play into?
Answer:

The type of genre my creations fall into is Hip Hop. I didn't choose Hip Hop, but it chose me. Everytime I'm recording, performing, or writing another song, it just feels so meant to be. I have dreams and daydreams all the time of being on stage. I live for this. 

At what moment in your life did you decide to become an artist / performer?
Answer:

I have Autism. I didn't really talk much til I was nine and it was through a piece of paper and pen. I began to perform when I was eighteen at a place I was at for people around my age. I began getting a little more exposure in my early twenties as an RnB Artist. My name was Daddy Tre at the time. Then I flourished and became Henessy Lyric, but then I heard another Artist was named Henessy, so I changed it to what it is now. HipHop Picaso. 

What is your earliest memory of listening to music?
Answer:

I was nine years old. I was in a foster home. I remember listening to Da Brat, E-40, Oldies, and some RnB. Aahliah and Missy Elliot were a hit at that time. The first time I heard Hip Hop I fell in love. It just felt so right. Like I was suppose to create it through my experiences in life. So I began to write poetry, which turned into Hip Hop.

How does your background play into this song?
Answer:

My background plays into my songs very well. I usually use Drill or Trap like beats. My style is a 90's Hip Hop vibe with a little 2024 essence. 

Who are you and what do you do?
Answer:

I am an Autistic Hip Hop Lyrical Genius Songwriter Recording and Performing Artist who speaks through Hip Hop. I'm from the Bay Area. I was raised out there, but then chose to follow my dream by coming out here to Los Angeles where I now live. I have been a Hip Hop creator since I was nine years old, so for about 31 years going on 32 July 21, 2024. My birthday.
