Who are you and what do you do?
Answer:

My names Michael and I'm a singer among other things I've been singing my whole life basically 

How does your background play into this song?
Answer:

Oh it varies it many different ways my background is authentic and doesn't pertain to one genre of any kind so expect to be wowed by the diversity in my music styles

What is your earliest memory of listening to music?
Answer:

I'll never forget hearing Whitney Houston sing for the first time the song was the greatest love of all and I think even little me couldn't hold back the tears the there's just something in the portrayal of a song and how to makes you feel. 

At what moment in your life did you decide to become an artist / performer?
Answer:

I'll never forget I always performed in the choirs but one day I heard Vesta Williams sing Congratulations and that's when I decided I wanted to perform live I always new I wanted to be a singer and performer I just didn't know how to go about it

What genres does this release play into?
Answer:

2 variety's Mostly R&B & Soul Aspects are what I went for for the first half but part 2 will be more heartfelt and emotional 

How has your sound and style evolved in the last 3 years?
Answer:

My sound has evolved tremendously because I've been inspired and have learned that music is always music is universal you learn something new about it everyday 

What themes do you explore throughout your music?
Answer:

Oh theme wise I explore aspects of love laughter life I try to most of the times 

If you could go on tour with any artist, who would it be and why?
Answer:

HA! great one I'd definitely tour with the legends Queen B, Mariah Carey Frank , Ocean Isley Brothers, Fantasia, Syleenajohnson, Swv, boys2men, Chaka khan, Patti Labelle, Gladys Knight, 

How would you describe your favorite artist's music to someone who has never heard them before?
Answer:

Good one Id Say enchanting mesmerizing and otherworldly my artist is the Phyllis Hyman 

How would you describe your music to someone who has never heard it before?
Answer:

Id say my music is wholesome comforting and very well put together I'd say my music is not like others it's unique in its own right that's what makes each track so special

If you could attend a performance by any artist, dead or alive, who would you choose and why?
Answer:

Amy winehouse, Whitney Houston, Nancy Wilson, lashun pace, Aretha Franklin, Phyllis Hyman, 

What is your favorite song you have made, and why?
Answer:

Be careful Phyllis Hyman Because it's Angelic and beyond anything you'll ever hear give it a listen 

If you could only listen to three artists for the rest of your life, who would you choose and why?
Answer:

Phyllis Whitney Houston Aretha Franklin 

What does your dream performance look like?
Answer:

My dream performance is a huge palladium with a huge chandelier and jaw droppping scenery with a sky view and 3 stories in the afternoon

Answer:

Beyoncé Mariah Carey Nicki Minaj 

What is the strangest place where you have discovered a new song?
Answer:

On the radio because I never expect to actually like anything that comes on until I really do 

What do you want people to feel when they listen to your music?
Answer:

I want people to feel a sense of relief and freedom hey I can do this it's not my fault I'll be ok reassurance that everyday is not promised 

What three words would you want your fanbase to use to describe you?
Answer:

I love you 

What is your favorite way of sharing your music?
Answer:

Through singing it there's no better way than captivating an audience. 

Do you practice? How has your practice changed over time?
Answer:

Everyday all the time my practice consists of me singing all my favorites and doing your traditional vocal warmups 

What is the most memorable response you've had to your work?
Answer:

People stopping me telling me never to stop which I really neeeded at the time sometimes you feel as though you have to give up and then there's a little spark of hope 

What is your definition of success as an artist? How do you measure this success?
Answer:

Longevity being kind and loving caring and compassionate not tearing others down 

How do you plan on being a game-changer within your genre?
Answer:

I plan on loving what I do for as long as I can and hoping the message resonates and reaches the hearts of many 

What role do you believe the artist has in our society?
Answer:

I believe as artists we should give back and embrace the community not just through perform but physically and mentally

Answer:

I will always love you Whitney Houston is the highest selling song by any female in history

What has been your scariest experience while pursuing music?
Answer:

Yes! There's was one so scarce I won't mention at this time. but there will be a tell all novel 

What has been your most embarassing moment while pursuing music?
Answer:

Will be mentioned and brought to attention in my memoir not at this time. 

If you could alter the music industry in any way, what would you change and why?
Answer:

I'd change some of the industry individuals who built there careers of hate and anger 

What jobs have you done other than being an artist?
Answer:

I've worked retail fast food even acted in a few new tv shows and movies. 

How have your other passions reinforced your process of making music?
Answer:

Well I also model I'm a professional model in modeling school so all my passions never intertwine I manage

Has being an artist made your life lonely? How do you counteract this?
Answer:

Being an artist can sometimes feel like your alone at the top all the time but with faith in your music you have to refine faith in yourself and your music when you can't find it in others

How would you define having an artistic outlook on life?
Answer:

Having that look in life makes you look at everything colorfully unlike others who can't see very far and are limited. 

What is your favorite work of art?
Answer:

I'd have to say This Album GLISTEN so far has to be. 

Which mediums of art do you most identify with?
Answer:

My Artistic Creativity speaks for itself when I get in that space

Often Compared to Amy winehouse and Frank Ocean 

What is the most significant lesson you've learned through being an artist?
Answer:

I'd learned from a few artist I won't name but the world doesn't really care about you until your gone never forget that. 

Do you have one main reason driving you to continue making music?
Answer:

The song in my heart has lead me this far, I can't stop now. 

What is your overarching goal as an artist?
Answer:

Being a stable artist being around 30 40 years from now
