Bad Valentines Perspective on Mariia
We are a fairly new rock band from Helsinki, Finland.
Our line-up was completed in August 2023.
In March 2024 we recorded four of our songs with two brilliant Finnish rock producers / engineers, Petri Majuri and Sammy Aaltonen.
'Mariia' is the first release from our upcoming Ep, 'Memory Tattoos'.
Our music is very melodic and energetic rock music, some kinda combination of punk rock, alternstive rock, 1960's pop music and punk rock.
We practice quite a lot in our very small rehearsing place.
When we work on new songs we do arrange everything together, like starting from the 'scratch', with only melody, chords and lyrics.
No demos done in advance for it is way more exciting this way.
This song, is an anti-war song.
There's too much of shit going on in the world and it is depressing.
That is why we want to create songs with meaningful lyrics.
Be true to yourself.
