When did you being using social media from an artist perspective?
Answer:

I started using Social Media, since the year of 2009, when I was 21 years old. I was always rapping. But, I didn't even have any type of way to put it on Social media or SoundCloud, at that time. 

Which social media platform helps you the most as an artist to reach new listeners?
Answer:

Facebook and YouTube had always helped me with my music, for me to be noticed, a little bit, by other people. 

Who are you and what do you do?
Answer:

My name is SHAQUETTA. I'm an Artist that's a Rapper. I do Hip-hop music. 

How does your background play into this song?
Answer:

I was always a Rapper. I just ain't never had anybody to put me on. I never been to a Studio. I started rapping in Elementary school. I started writing my own lyrics. 

What is your earliest memory of listening to music?
Answer:

I been listening to music, since I was a Child. My Mother was always playing old R & B music that was by Teddy Pendergrass and other Old Artists and I listened.

She also played Rap Music, too. 

At what moment in your life did you decide to become an artist / performer?
Answer:

I decided to become an Artist, when I was 15 years old and I was going to Weequahic High School. This was back in the year of 2003!

What genres does this release play into?
Answer:

This song is a Goth Rap Music that's just based on Halloween. 

How has your sound and style evolved in the last 3 years?
Answer:

It never changed. I just got more into doing music, just like I got into doing Art. 

What themes do you explore throughout your music?
Answer:

My themes in the most of my music has always been dark or bitter. 

If you could go on tour with any artist, who would it be and why?
Answer:

I could see myself going on tour with Phix, Tom Mcdonald, or Ghost Mane

How would you describe your favorite artist's music to someone who has never heard them before?
Answer:

Their skills is sharper than mine. Mine is still at level one. I think. 

How would you describe your music to someone who has never heard it before?
Answer:

I wouldn't be able to describe my music. They're just going to have to listen to it and then decide for their self. 

If you could attend a performance by any artist, dead or alive, who would you choose and why?
Answer:

I would choose any Artist. I'm not the picky type. 

What is your favorite song you have made, and why?
Answer:

The favorite songs that I had made is called "Dating Ain't Dating Anymore", "Don't Fall", "Stuck in the Fall"! 

What is your overarching goal as an artist?
Answer:

I want to become known just like every other Artist. 

Do you have one main reason driving you to continue making music?
Answer:

The only thing that drives me is my Son

I can't compare myself to any Artist

Answer:

Ghost Mane, Phix, and Tom Mcdonald

Answer:

Something like Jay-Z or Chris Brown

Answer:

I don't plan to change anything

Answer:

Eminem 

What is the most significant lesson you've learned through being an artist?
Answer:

I learned that you got to stay with the beat and stick to the rhymes

Answer:

I just want them to just love my music

Answer:

Sketching is my other passion

Answer:

I define the fact is that life without Art would be fucking boring

Answer:

Weird, down to earth, and wack Artist

Answer:

My favorite work of Art is my music and my sketches

Answer:

I just post it on YouTube, Facebook, or Spotify. Whoever wants to listen can listen.

Answer:

I write and go over my rhymes

Answer:

I just say that I believe in myself

Answer:

I believe in the fact is that I am Picasso with my work

Answer:

My definition of success is being able to do anything for my Son

Answer:

I believe in the fact is that they are common Artists that just bring out the worst pr the best in people through their music 

What has been your most embarassing moment while pursuing music?
Answer:

My most embarrassing moment of myself putting out music was back in the year of 2020, when I was making the Album called Broken Mind, back, during the Pandemic. It didn't come out the way that I thought that it would, because I didn't have my own bedroom to myself. 

If you could alter the music industry in any way, what would you change and why?
Answer:

I would change the way that I think

What jobs have you done other than being an artist?
Answer:

I was on the Streets, painting, while I was homeless! 

Has being an artist made your life lonely? How do you counteract this?
Answer:

Being an Artist didn't make me feel any different
