Who are you and what do you do?
Answer:

My name is Fresh Ayer and I am a Artist/song writer. 

What is your earliest memory of listening to music?
Answer:

I've always been around music since birth. My father used to rap with KRS-One, Mally Mal, Cool Cast, and more. My mother sings and brought us to church every Sunday, where I started playing the bongos.

At what moment in your life did you decide to become an artist / performer?
Answer:

I've been performing since the first grade, but it was mostly dancing. I was well-known for dancing from 1st to 5th grade in school, and I went on a tour with the Freemans where I did swing dancing for a little bit.

What genres does this release play into?
Answer:

RAP, HIP-HOP, Jersey club and we have a new Genre called "Sexy Drill"

How has your sound and style evolved in the last 3 years?
Answer:

All the life struggles and victories I have experienced in the past year have taught me valuable lessons. These experiences have shaped me into a new person, and I have named my unique sound "A Breath Of Fresh Air." I believe it stands out from anything else.

If you could go on tour with any artist, who would it be and why?
Answer:

Drake looks out for artists coming out without any hidden agendas. He is a genuine person, and his music speaks for itself. That's the 🐐 in my eyes.

How would you describe your favorite artist's music to someone who has never heard them before?
Answer:

Timeless 

What themes do you explore throughout your music?
Answer:

Any theme that comes to mind. This is the reason I believe I will always be sharp and have new things for my fans to experience and love.

If you could attend a performance by any artist, dead or alive, who would you choose and why?
Answer:

BBiggie because that era of music was the time to be alive. I get upset sometimes I didn't get to witness that lol. Tell Elon Musk to hurry with the Time Machine... We are waiting.

How would you describe your music to someone who has never heard it before?
Answer:

A BREATH OF FRESH AIR 

What is your favorite song you have made, and why?
Answer:

The song i just did for Momma Fresh for Mother's Day. 
Just remembering all the memories from my childhood to now has helped me recall things I had forgotten. It's genuine and something I have poured my heart into. When I discuss life, I become vulnerable so that my fans can truly understand where I'm coming from.

If you could only listen to three artists for the rest of your life, who would you choose and why?
Answer:

Drake, Whitney Houston & Myself of course lol

What does your dream performance look like?
Answer:

SSuper Bowl or Madison Square Garden sold out with my whole family there and bring my mother on stage with me. ❤️

Answer:

What is the strangest place where you have discovered a new song?
Answer:

Lime wire 

What do you want people to feel when they listen to your music?
Answer:

I want them to feel like a better version of themselves. If I can share my energy with my fans to uplift their emotions, it would be an honor. I love ensuring that other people are happy and okay.

What is your favorite way of sharing your music?
Answer:

In face-to-face interactions, one can discern an individual's level of interest through their nonverbal cues.

Do you practice? How has your practice changed over time?
Answer:

I diligently engage in daily practice routines. Following this interview, a session awaits me. My profound adoration for music resonates deeply within me. It is rare for me to recall the last instance I showered without the accompaniment of musical melodies.

What is the most memorable response you've had to your work?
Answer:

Writing a song for Chris Brown's Indigo album released in 2019 called "Act In" where they wanted to leave my vocals on the song because of how I performed them really blew my mind and changed my perspective on my craft.

Name three artists you’d like to be compared to.
Answer:

I wouldn't want to be compared to anyone, but I am definitely inspired by PartyNextDoor. I feel that when I sing, some records or styles are inspired by him.

What is your definition of success as an artist? How do you measure this success?
Answer:

Having fun and creating opportunities for other artists who are up-and-coming, changing the things that need to be changed in our industry, and aspiring to become a music mogul.

If you could alter the music industry in any way, what would you change and why?
Answer:

Change the way they treat artist and producers. 

What jobs have you done other than being an artist?
Answer:

Culinary, FedEx, Solar, Spectrum, Cheese cake dispensary. 

How do you plan on being a game-changer within your genre?
Answer:

By creating music that stands on its own, I strive to ensure that everything I release is a breath of fresh air.

Has being an artist made your life lonely? How do you counteract this?
Answer:

Not everyone sees your vision the way you do. They never will. You have to believe in yourself to the point where it makes you feel like you're crazy. Your story shouldn't go unnoticed because of that.

How does your background play into this song?
Answer:

I've always been a lady's man since a child. This song is strictly for my beautiful women.  I love you all! ❤️

What role do you believe the artist has in our society?
Answer:

By making sure they have the truth while having fun. 

How have your other passions reinforced your process of making music?
Answer:

Music is truly my only passion. This is something I do all the time, when I don't have time, when I do have time. Music is my life. 

What has been your scariest experience while pursuing music?
Answer:

The things people can do behind closed doors to stop what your trying to do. Having no reason other than hate and ignorance. Yahwehs plan can't be stopped.

Answer:

Any song that went diamond. 💎 

What is the most significant lesson you've learned through being an artist?
Answer:

Remain steadfast in your beliefs and values. Not everyone is meant to accompany you on your journey.

What has been your most embarassing moment while pursuing music?
Answer:

Oh, what a surprise! Another artist used the same instrumentals as me during a show and performed just before my turn. It genuinely stung. Despite winning the contest, it left me feeling a bit lacking in originality. So, I ventured into beat-making until I connected with producers who resonated with my style and pushed me to grow further.

How would you define having an artistic outlook on life?
Answer:

Using all of life experiences and lessons as a tool to create Music. 

Do you have one main reason driving you to continue making music?
Answer:

YThe divine guidance of Yahweh consistently illuminates my purpose, irrespective of my current endeavors. His gentle reminders ensure I stay aligned with His will.

What is your overarching goal as an artist?
Answer:

To establish oneself as a prominent figure in the music industry, leaving an enduring impact that resonates through generations.

What is your favorite work of art?
Answer:

Engaging in songwriting that delves into life experiences often leaves me feeling exposed, yet this vulnerability ultimately deepens my connection with the music, enhancing my appreciation for the final piece. Perhaps focusing on such introspective themes would be most beneficial for future records.

Which mediums of art do you most identify with?
Answer:

As a content creator who loves acting, I am drawn to mediums of art that allow me to express myself creatively and emotionally. Acting is a powerful form of storytelling that resonates with me deeply. I also enjoy exploring other art forms to enhance my storytelling capabilities and create compelling content. By combining various mediums, I aim to challenge myself creatively and deliver captivating experiences for viewers.
