Who are you and what do you do?

Answer:

Shalom Mishpacha! I am Zamar Yashar'el! Truth music artist, Moreh, Father, Husband. I am from New Orleans Louisiana!

How does your background play into this song?

Answer:

This song is a glimps of my life in the Awakening of who I am and who my people are. I've been there, excited of the newly discovered identity and rightfully so. But there is a time to get down on our knees and cry out to aba Yah for true transformation. In order to get closer, we gotta get lower. This song is the sound of my heart in this season!

What is your earliest memory of listening to music?

Answer:

My earliest memories come from Saturday mornings, when it was house cleaning time, my mother would turn her music on full blast and that means everyone get up and clean up! We would clean to the sounds of "Mighty Clouds of Joy"," Sounds of Blackness", " Clark Sister and the Winans etc.

At what moment in your life did you decide to become an artist / performer?

Answer:

I don't believe one chooses music, but music chooses you. Music chose me at the age 11 and would not leave me alone. Learning mutiple instruments and writing songs was apart of my up bringing!

What genres does this release play into?

Answer:

This Neo-Soul blended with RnB and worship give a unique sound that can reach listeners who are fans of all those genres!

How has your sound and style evolved in the last 3 years?

Answer:

I have evolved in establishing my vocal tone and control. This evolution was supported by challenging myself lyrically as well as style of music. I don't want to be placed in a box as far as music goes. With that being the case, I am constantly evolving musically.

What themes do you explore throughout your music?

Answer:

The theme depends on the times and the position I see us, "Yashar'el" as a whole. I listen to the hearts of the people and let the state of the people be the theme of every project.

If you could go on tour with any artist, who would it be and why?

Answer:

Asaph and Leyah, Lorvins, J Lutch, and Yapah Q. These artist share the same vision and heart as I. The fact that I know their characters is a bonus!

How would you describe your favorite artist's music to someone who has never heard them before?

Answer:

Thought provoking and heart pulling!

What is your favorite song you have made, and why?

Answer:

"No Fear", this song helped me walk into truth fearless and prepared for the hurt that would follow from friends and family who does not understand .

Answer:

Answer:

My favorite way is Live! It gives the listener a real life experience with the music that cannot be matched

What three words would you want your fanbase to use to describe you?

Answer:

Real, Ruach filled, Rememberable

What do you want people to feel when they listen to your music?

Answer:

I want the people to feel the Ruach Ha Kodesh and freedom. Those who know know!

How do you plan on being a game-changer within your genre?

Answer:

I want to bring Worship and Truth to Truth music where it belongs

Answer:
