Who are you and what do you do?

What's good, everyone? This is Knightro, coming all the way from Mississippi. I'm a(n) MC, artist, rapper, songwriter, producer, and curator. The Mack of all trades, the Master of plenty

How has your sound and style evolved in the last 3 years?

Answer:

I felt like it was time for a change, so as I've collaborated with several producers, I've noticed that my style and my flow began to become very versatile as I was going

At what moment in your life did you decide to become an artist / performer?

Answer:

I started writing when I was 14, but I guess I've decided to become an artist when I was 17

What is your earliest memory of listening to music?

Answer:

I believe I may have to had been 2 or 3 years old, and then I was introduced to plenty of artists from different genres

How would you describe your music to someone who has never heard it before?

Answer:

I'd say gangsta, but cool and laid back. And you can definitely hear the country/southern accent when you hear and listen to me rap

Name three artists you’d like to be compared to.

Answer:

The most I get from people who listen to me are Bun B, Spice 1, and Ice Cube

If you could attend a performance by any artist, dead or alive, who would you choose and why?

Answer:

I'd say Eazy-E or 2Pac. Those 2 are the main reasons why I've decided to become an artist

What role do you believe the artist has in our society?

Answer:

I believe we have the power to be leaders and revolutionaries; anything below that is uncivilized.

What do you want people to feel when they listen to your music?

Answer:

I like for my fans and listeners to enlightened, energetic, and educated when they listen to my music.
