Do you have any particular methods that help you flush out your creativity while making music?
Answer:

Smoking marijuana really brings out my creative side. It heightens my senses so when I listen to beats I'm able to hear pass the surface and that allows to pull lyrics out even when I'm stuck.

Walk us through your music creation process, specifically for this song.
Answer:

My process is simple, nothing too complicated. Once I hear a beat a few times I let it simmer. Then I'm able to write my hook and from there the verses sometimes fall right into place. Sometimes it takes me 2-3 days to finish a full song.

Do you prefer working alone or collaborating with others? How does this influence your sound?

Answer:

For me it's the microphone because I love to sing.

In 2022 I became homeless and started sleeping in my car in front of my auntie house. During that time I became a big fan of Rod Wave and hearing him talk about his similar struggles, I decided that from then on I would take being an artist serious (I started writing music in 2016).

Answer:

If you were to hear some of my earlier music that I never released, you would say that I was definitely influenced by Rod Wave. But since 2022 I've come along way in writing, recording, and just the flows that I use on each song. I think I've grown to include more passion in my voice when recording.

If you could go on tour with any artist, who would it be and why?

I would like to go on tour with Rod Wave, Fetty Wap, or Jeter Jones. I say one of those 3 because they are my greatest inspirations, besides Michael Jackson, that have had a major impact on my music & journey.

Do you have one main reason driving you to continue making music?
Answer:

My main reason for continuing my music journey is my family. The goal has always been to get out of the hood but at first I was doing it for me. Overtime it became "Ok I have to get mom & dad out of here so they don't have to work anymore." That's what's driving me and I won't ever get from behind the wheel.

How would you describe your music to someone who has never heard it before?
Answer:

My music is music that resonates with the listener. I try to tell the story of my life in my music. The way I relate to some things Rod Wave talks about, I know there are listeners out there that have been through some of the things I talk about. My music will give u different emotions and inspirations with every song.

If you could attend a performance by any artist, dead or alive, who would you choose and why?
Answer:

That's an easy answer. Michael Jackson. If I could have seen him live in person, my life would have been made and there would be nothing tht could top that. MJ was & is my biggest idol. I have two MJ pictures on my wall and Everytime I record music, I point to him and say "Thank you."

Answer:

My favorite song from my catalog would have to be Broken Hearts. I choose that one because that's the first song I ever had professionally mixed & mastered. That song is very personal and close to my heart. I think that song was the beginning of me taking my storytelling up a notch.

Back in 2023 D.C Youngfly hit me back on Instagram and said "I see you working" That meant a lot because I obviously listen to his music and at that point in time my main thing was "I'm gonna get DC to respond to my music." And it happened a couple days after.

My biggest goal is to become wealthy enough that me and my family never have to come back to the hood. The goal is to make it to the good life, and stay there.
