Tyler Mhac Perspective on Low Resistance

Tyler Mhac is a 30-year-old Jamaican American rap artist, born and raised in Philadelphia. Having four project and over 50 released songs Tyler has honed his sound to reflect cultural roots, storytelling, and versatile artistry.

This song was inspired by a few people that were around me daily showing me who they really are but being too naive to believe it. Once reality hit, Instantly, I started removing those few people out of my life. Not to mention the people in my past. When I said, "If you get dropped off, I ain't turning back" I really mean it.

My earliest memory of listening to music is, being five-years-old getting picked after school by my oldest brother. My oldest brother is a pure Jamaican man who happened to look like 50 cent when he was younger. Using our mothers car he would pick me up first after school then pick her up from work. On our way to her, he would blast 50 Cent, all of his mixtapes, and I was fasinated by what I was hearing. i also remember being eight-years-old, i found my father's 50 Cent Get Rich Die Trying album and i actually took it and listened to the entire album until i knew it word for word. I eventually got caught and my father didnt want me listenening to 50 Cent or G-Unit until I got older but yes those are my earliest memories of listening to music.

I decided to become an artist when i first heard my voice playback on a track. I Instantly fell in love with my voice. I was fifteen the first time i heard myself. By sixteen I knew I wanted to do music. My friends around me at the time were also surprised at how I sounded and eventually wanted to hear more and thats basically how I got started. At seventeen-years-old i dropped my first mixtape "New Tricks" I burned well over five hundred CDs and gave them out around the entire school. By the end of that day, I had people i didnt even know telling me how dope i was, and from there on I knew I had real talent.
