Who are you and what do you do?

Answer:

I YRT RIK is an amazing and growing artist from the southern part of Florida

What is your earliest memory of listening to music?

Answer:

My exposure to music and different genres was around the age of 7 or 8

At what moment in your life did you decide to become an artist / performer?

Answer:

At the age of 19 my peers saw the talent and encouraged and pushed me to take it seriously

What is your overarching goal as an artist?

Answer:

For my music to be featured in animes, movies, games etc...

What genres does this release play into?

Answer:

Reggae Dancehall

How has your sound and style evolved in the last 3 years?

Answer:

My style and technique has evolved into a better state also led me to try different flows and styles in HIP HOP

If you could go on tour with any artist, who would it be and why?

Answer:

The artist I would go on tour with is lil poppa or Kodak black I feel like I relate a lot with there music and there persona

How would you describe your favorite artist's music to someone who has never heard them before?

Answer:

A means to express how you feel and to release pain that's been bottled up. The music is a vibe and relatable

If you could attend a performance by any artist, dead or alive, who would you choose and why?

Answer:

Thebackendchild (Nocap)

his music is a vibe so I know his performances is fun and active.

What is your favorite song you have made, and why?

Answer:

MY favorite song I have written is DND/DoNotDie (unreleased) because in that song I've expressed most of my pain and trials of life that I've been through

If you could only listen to three artists for the rest of your life, who would you choose and why?

Answer:

Chronic law- reason being he is an Jamaican artist who teaches life lessons and awareness of the society we live in through his music

Akaline- also an Jamaican artist who has talent in different flows and styles. His music is also made and delivered on an intellectual level.

Calboy- American based artist who is very versatile with melodies, flows and lyrics. I relate heavy to his music and sound .

What does your dream performance look like?

Answer:

Sold out show in a football stadium

What is the strangest place where you have discovered a new song?

Answer:

Funerals

What do you want people to feel when they listen to your music?

Answer:

I can't tell them how to feel because once music hits you, you feel no pain

What is your favorite way of sharing your music?

Answer:

Repost and shares on instagram

How do you plan on being a game-changer within your genre?

Answer:

By being humble and true to myself will let my success speak

What role do you believe the artist has in our society?

Answer:

They are very influential on a mass scale of individuals

What has been your scariest experience while pursuing music?

Answer:

Staying alive to continue the journey

If you could alter the music industry in any way, what would you change and why?

Answer:

The negativity that people feed off in music

Do you have one main reason driving you to continue making music?

Answer:

Not living for my self I have people who are depending on me
