Prince Pompeii Perspective on Monster In The Mirror

I like to consider myself a "Rap Artist" and not a "Rapper". Reason being I mostly like to dive deep into the realities of my surroundings and events in my life and every song I write comes from the heart.
It may not always be about my reality but about a reality of anothers, even then, I always pull an experience I had into it to tie it all together. Which in my opinion is what a songwriters job is to do, create an emotion from music through relatability.

I remember listening to music when I was as young as 5yrs old but based off photos of me acting pretending I'm Michael Jackson would say it was before then. 😄 🤣 😂

Well, I'm just like many of others who struggle with depression and fighting inner demons.
I am human too, so I go through the same emotional rollercoasters as any other normal person would, I just have the gift of being able to express it through my music!

I first began dabbling writing poetry for school in Elementary and middle school and then it just became sort of a hobby I did when I was bored. I was maybe 9-10yrs old. However I didn't start actually considering making music of my own until I was 14 yrs old.

Definitely progressive rap/hip-hop with a touch of pop.
When I made the song I wasn't really trying to make a song based on "genre". I really just make music and what comes out, comes out and if it happens to be categorized into a "genre"...I like to let the fans decide that.

I believe as Artists of the world, cwe have a key role in Community Awareness. We have a voice and a platform and it's our duty to use it for good. Alot of peope listen to Artists like myself and can't understand where we are coming from nor how we could be a positive source in the community because of our lyrical content. However, I believe the world is starting to understand the impact artists around the world can have on the world.

If I Could go on tour with any Artist, it be a draw between Yelawolf and Merkules. (Bonus: Lil Whyte) Reason being is I think I'd fit right in to their demographic even though I'm not as "Country" sounding as them nor have I yet dove into that genre. My background and roots definitely coincide with there's. I think the only thing that seperates me from them is my race. I'm actually Hispanic, my mother is from Spain and my father is an Mexican American born and raised out of Laredo, Tx. Yeah, thats as basic an answer I could give haha.

Over the past three years, I’ve made significant strides as an artist. If you listen to my older tracks on Soundcloud and Soundclick, the improvement is dramatic. I believe those who've followed my journey would agree. My sound quality and delivery have improved considerably, and I feel I’m more versatile than most Hip-Hop/Rap artists. I’m really starting to find my footing.

My favorite way of sharing my music is definitely through social media. It's fast, easy, and allows me to connect with a broad audience instantly. Plus, I'm not really an "outside" kind of guy like I was in my younger days, so social media suits me perfectly. Haha!

When people listen to my music, my goal is for them to feel assured that they are not alone in whatever they are going through. I want them to know that there are millions of us right there with them, including me. I hope listeners can relate to me on a personal level and realize that I'm just a regular person like them.
Ultimately, I want people to "feel" whatever emotion my music evokes, to embrace it fully, and to find comfort in their own skin. Whether it's a sense of solidarity, understanding, or simply the comfort of knowing someone else shares their struggles, I aim for my music to be a source of connection and reassurance.
