Cipher Perspective on Roll One

I'm Cipher. I create music, images, animations, music videos, NFTs, and collectables.

Marijuanna is still not legal in my hometown city of Dallas like it is in many other places, and I speak on that in my verse

I'm the first artist in the world who has hidden a Bitcoin in their art collection for my fans to find and keep. https://cipherpunks.xzy

I often felt alone when I was a kid. I didn't see anyone else going through what I was going through. I make music so people going through similar experiences know they aren't alone.

Artists are here to make people to stop and think. To break up the dogma we live everyday. To speak up for people who don't speak for themselves.

I once had a fan tell me that they were planning on commiting suicide. They heard my song Trapped, changed their mind, and it changed their life. I'm honored to have been part of their journey.

Music and Video art forms resonate with me most. I combine them into Music Videos and NFTs.

Openmindedness

Yes! Sometimes it feels like no one really gets me. When that happens, I spend more time with close friends and family.

SO MANY! I've been a landscaper, burger flipper, warehouse janitor, US Navy sailor, and many different technology roles.

I was performing onstage and my backing track was NOT the backing track I expected, so I had to fast-forward it in the middle of my performance

I'd like to see the best music have success, instead of the artists with the biggest budgets

The scariest part has been releasing music that reveals secret family traumas. I hope that the music I release about things that happened years ago doesn't drive deeper rifts in the family.

Smart, sexy, badass

I want people to realize they're not alone and feel empowered

Showing up to a stadium full of people in a helicopter, rappelin down a rope, landing on the stage, and kicking things off with a banger.

My favorite song I've released so far is Trapped, because writing that song helped me deal with my past and let's others going through similar experiences know that they're not alone.

I've always created music and thought mine was better than most of what's on the radio. One day I found a course that showed me how I can be an independent artist, and that's all it took. Just needed to learn the way.

Hip-Hop, Rap, Boom Bap, & Smoke Tracks! Even maybe a little R&B with the chorus.
