Who are you and what do you do?
Answer:

I am QualoDaKidd. I'm a up and coming recording artist. 

How does your background play into this song?
Answer:

My life and history as always been diabolical. I never knew that I would be singing but in a way I feel as if music found me.

What is your earliest memory of listening to music?
Answer:

When my mom would play Adele on cleaning days . I would hear her sing and join .

At what moment in your life did you decide to become an artist / performer?
Answer:

I've always had a natural ear for music from early on in my life. I was apart of a choir group at my church.

I have a funny way of believing that your history can repeat itself. One of my closest child hood friends would tell me to record music but it would go in one ear and out the other.

It wasn't until recently when my girlfriend brother would always mention music to me back in late of 2023. That's when I knew I could do it so I tried to record.

What genres does this release play into?
Answer:

Emo rap.

Melodic rap.

Influential rap.

How has your sound and style evolved in the last 3 years?
Answer:

I can definitely tell the difference from when I was first recording music into where I'm at now.

If you could go on tour with any artist, who would it be and why?
Answer:

It would been juice Wrld.. long live juice.

but as of now I'm not really to much keen in on touring with anyone but I was to have a chance it would be Post Malone or The Kid Laroi

How would you describe your favorite artist's music to someone who has never heard them before?
Answer:

Raw, painted pictures, emotional, intellectual

Deep conversation, dark, autistic, lonely, emotional

Answer:

Juice WRLD , I say him because he was one those artist that was not afraid of his demons or demise you know. His music his what made want to express myself and tell my story.

What is your favorite song you have made, and why?
Answer:

As of now my go to song would be  "Far Gone", which was dropped on my album that's now "Ain't Too Long".

Answer:

My dream show/ performance would be a packed out coliseum or maybe a stadium.

Answer:

Compassion, I want my listeners to know that they are not alone. 
I try to make my music a therapeutical as I can .

What is your definition of success as an artist? How do you measure this success?
Answer:

My definition of success as a recording artist is not define on the amount of money I make. 
I want my music to live on for generations to come, I want the world to see me make from nothing basically turning dirt to diamonds.

How do you plan on being a game-changer within your genre?
Answer:

For one staying loyal to who I am as a person, no matter if I change the music industry or perhaps be the face of the market one day. I will be myself and make the music I love.

What role do you believe the artist has in our society?
Answer:

Being a recording artist in today times is very important. As an artist you are able to get yourself heard no matter where you coming from or what backgrounds you've had to overcome you can be someone special in this life if you believe it.

What has been your scariest experience while pursuing music?
Answer:

Not knowing if I would blow and takeoff.

Answer:

If you could alter the music industry in any way, what would you change and why?
Answer:

I wouldn't change much or try to . I feel as if every artist out there big or small can have a voice and are unique in there own way.

What jobs have you done other than being an artist?
Answer:

I've had to sacrifice to survive from walking in cold storms to , sacrificing my health to make money.

I've had to work at fast food jobs, I've had to work at chicken plants it was hard but I've never went against what my true destiny is and that is making music.

How have your other passions reinforced your process of making music?
Answer:

One thing I will say is working has taken  time from me . Music is all about making time and investing into yourself.

Has being an artist made your life lonely? How do you counteract this?
Answer:

I want necessary say lonely. I've always been a loner , I've always been the last choice . Music is therapy to me it's like the microphone listen the beat plays and I can be my true self.

How would you define having an artistic outlook on life?
Answer:

Being able to think creative in life is major to me.

it keeps me 3,4,5, steps ahead of my generation. Being able to be artistic is major in today's economy the industry is paying millions of dollars to people like me to be creative in this digital and ever changing world.

What is your favorite work of art?
Answer:

When I'm recording on the online in hotels and closets it creates more memories for me. Before I make it big.

Answer:

Smooth, exotic, true to myself

Answer:

I don't do comparisons because I believe every artist is different in there own way 

What is the most significant lesson you've learned through being an artist?
Answer:

Patience is everything, timing will only tell if you let it. And when it's your time you will know.

Do you have one main reason driving you to continue making music?
Answer:

My girlfriend, she my biggest inspiration I do it for her. Even when I'm down and wanting to give it all up she keeps me levitated telling me to don't stop and to keep going.

What is your overarching goal as an artist?
Answer:

My goal as in artist is to one day have my own record label and to be and idol to the up and coming artist as myself.

Do you have a distinct way of making music, how do you work?
Answer:

I keep my recording process simple as possible. I don't like to be around a lot of people when recording.

Do you prefer working alone or collaborating with others? How does this influence your sound?
Answer:

Right now where I'm at with music is im working on myself to master my sound and pave my way as a true artist.

Do you have any particular methods that help you flush out your creativity while making music?
Answer:

I like to look at the stars if I record at night and I look at the blue sky if it's a daytime session.

Which aspect of the writing, production and release process do you enjoy the most?
Answer:

When I become more melodic . Also it depends on the mood I'm in.

Answer:

What is the best advice you've received to improve the production quality of your music?
Answer:

Tuning my vocals.

What is your favorite instrument to work with, and why?
Answer:

Guitars mixed in with a melodic rythem. 
For me listening to beats I can tell which one I would want to work on and I will definitely say I've found my groove on a lot of melodic guitar beats.

What production elements do you believe are necessary to making a great song?
Answer:

Definitely a good quality microphone, a digital workstation. 
To be honest I don't believe in you need a thousand dollar music setup to make it.

Answer:

My fastest time when making a song I will say when i recorded ," Locked In"

Answer:

Vocals most definitely 

If you could choose anyone to produce one of your tracks, who would you choose and why?
Answer:

I'm more of a independent artist I've never work with a real producer . I've always recorded,mastered and produced my own songs . But one day hopefully it'll pan out.

What drives you to continue writing music?
Answer:

My life , the struggle, the trials and heartbreaks

My heart, my feelings, my emotions , my state of mind.

Answer:

Creating the time for it

Answer:

My music is not only a reflection of who I am but it's my life , it's my story

Answer:

I look around at my situation, I look in the mirror. I know I have nothing, I know I'm poor the inspiration is already there

I find myself speaking on love a lot , I express my relationship problems in my music .

When I learned that it was a easy way for me to let the world know that I am a recording artist

Answer:

It's crazy because it only takes one song or sample for you to blow you can pitch mini videos of you and your music to the social sites and it would get new listeners to tune in.

Answer:

Instagram I'm learning to get into the other platforms such as TikTok etc

Answer:

It's still a little early in my career to tell

No I don't find it necessary to keep your music hot . Like I've stated I believe every artist is different there always going to be the next biggest artist coming out. 
After every 5-6 years the world discovers the next drake, future, Wayne and furthermore
