Capital Ferg Perspective on Brand New You

This song draws on multiple different genres. It's been described to me as part hip-hop, part alternative, part scat, part Michael Jackson-style, etc. I guess it's uniquely me and summarizes what style(s) of music I make. I feel the root of most of my music is hip-hop & RnB but I draw on everything I've listened to and enjoyed over the years.

I honestly love sharing a newly recorded song with good friends and family to get their reaction. They'll be honest with me even if they don't love it. But when a good friend or family memeber loves a song, it's a huge win to me. Of course, anyone liking it is amazing as I'm doing it for fun and for me first and foremost.
