Illy Steezburg Perspective on Avalanche

I am Illy Steezburg, I am a multifaceted Artist, producer and writer.

My background plays into this record by enlightening a story of success. Based a 3 piece project going from heartaches to heart throb. Avalanche is the successful side of staying persistent and fashionable. With the wittiness of wordplay and imagery it shows my personality, dreams, and mindset.

Music has always been apart of my life my dad was a dj and my mom was a lover of many genres of music. It's really hard to say my first memory but I can say one of my earliest memories was the Big Pimpin' video by Jay-Z.

I made the commitment to become an artist in elementary school, it was a very young age. There was a career questionnaire my teacher passed around and I put that I wanted to be a rapper.

This record falls in line with my signature genre Trap Pop

My sound has elevated and has been directed to the Trap Pop feels. It also has elevated to a defined style and working towards more relatable material.

I'm selling hope. And keys to life given to me from God.

I'd say Pluto right now. He's been a major influence on me since 2009.

I would say think of elegance from a low class president. Upper echelon experience from someone who they counted out. The content is more of a feeling than anything else.

My music is intimate. Sometime we dreaming, Sometimes we having a real conversation, Sometimes we gotta get something off of our heart. Either way I'm capturing your heart and holding it carefully.

I would say Prince or Mike. Man, Prince on that guitar and just the way he captures the crowd. And Mike, the greatest performer ever how could you go wrong.

Hard to say because all of my songs have a sentimental value and meaning. But if I had to choose one probably the last one I made.

Future - So Versatile really could do any genre and murder it Fute can give you any aspect of music at a very high level
No Cap - His own is crazy and his music is fire. He actually is one of the few artist that keeps my own strong. He gives hope to the true southern lyricists.
Bob Marley - I would need that balance of peace and love from Bob. And hope. And just that paradisial feeling when it's time to wind down.

My dream performance would be an outside venue sold out with over 50,000 ppl. Every song would be sang by the crowd I honestly could let them sing it and just watch. I seen Mary J Blidge do it.... it was amazing. Soon as the song came on she didn't say a word and everyone was on time it was super inspiring.

My dream collab would be with Zay. It has to happen.

In the bathroom room at work. I discover a lot of really, really nice songs there.

I want people to feel hopeful and happy sometimes and other times I want them to reflect on times in there life so if they are ever faced with tribulations they can find wise words and advice to push through that time.

I'm old school so I like person to person the most.

I don't practice often as I should. I practice when I have something to practice for.

"This You !!"

At first it was the cliches money cars clothes. But now it's exponentially more simple. My definition is being able to make music and put it out. And to have it reach the people it's supposed to. Success isn't in a million streams to me. I mean it's great of course but if I never reach that I'll still feel successful by putting out music and having ppl I actually know or can touch vibe out.

My plan is to continue to just be myself. Promote hope and kick real game. Speak for the ppl who wasn't the brokest but wasn't the richest but still wanted to make a good living and please God.

We speak for the people who can't say how they feel in words. We paint images for people to relate to. We help remind the world that we are not alone. The artist spread emotions and bring togetherness.

Movin Up by Curtis Mayfield

Actually getting offered Money to Perdue the dream.

Performing at school. We had the worst sound system. We could never hear the music so that would cause me and my team to be off during performances Lolol man. We made an anthem for our college and tried to perform it let's just say we never performed that song again at school again.

I would change the demonic concept behind the narrative and not black artist promote violence and other negative images and ideas of our people.

I've done just about everything lol.

I get creativity from anywhere.

There was a time I was very lonely by choice. I didn't want to be distracted or have to explain things or get derailed off course. I was young and doing wild stuff too.

Just being expressive

Life itself. God went off
