Who are you and what do you do?

Answer:

My name is Parker Hughes. I am a singer songwriter out of london ohio. I am a father to a 5 year old boy. raising him has been nothing short of a journey.

How does your background play into this song?

Answer:

This is a real song about real feelings with my son. Before he was born and even a little after he was born i struggled with drug addiction. Raising him has helped me realize that i dont need those other things. I just need my best friend, and little does he know that he is my best friend, a blessing.

What is your earliest memory of listening to music?

Answer:

When i was younger my mom would jam out with me in the car and we'd sing until we cried. My father also always sang in the car and has been a dj for karaoke for over 25 years! So ive always been around it.
