What inspired this song?

“THIS YEAR” is more than a song, it’s a command.

After many years of grief, depression and not releasing music, “THIS YEAR” is one of the hundreds of songs that I have recorded, set to release every 4 weeks starting this year to counsel and motivate the troubled minds of my culture and this world to get serious, get disciplined, get consistent, get money, get financially stabled, get mentally and physically healthy, and have fun while doing it

What goal were you trying to achieve while creating this song?

Answer:

"THIS YEAR” produced by me and my nephew New Elite on New Year’s Eve, ironically, is a highly-fun, energetic, 808 heavy bass driven Hip Hop song, full of lyrical affirmations, perfect for New Year’s resolutions, to get money to, to party to, dance to, exercise and workout to.
