S3VIL Perspective on Mirage '23 (Official Anthem)

Growing up in the electrifying city of Mumbai, where music is in the very air you breathe, it's no surprise I found myself drawn to the world of music production. Since October 8th, 2003, this city has been my muse, and under the stage name S3VIL, I've been pouring my heart into crafting music that captures its energy. The local music scene has embraced me in a way I never imagined, and my latest project is something truly special – I can't wait to share it with the world!

Nagindas Khandwala College, situated in the lively neighborhood of Malad, Mumbai, annually hosts Mirage, a college fest that celebrates talent, creativity, and youth. In 2022, something truly remarkable happened at Mirage, thanks to the musical genius of S3VIL.
Let me tell you about an incredible project that came my way – creating the anthem for our very own Mirage fest!
Mirage is all about celebrating talent, creativity, and the energy of youth, and I knew right away that this was a challenge I couldn't pass up. The chance to create something that would capture the spirit of our college community and leave a lasting impression – that's what fueled my passion in the studio.
Every single part of the Mirage anthem, from the lyrics that bottle the essence of the fest to the melody that brings it all to life, came straight from me. It was an amazing experience to pour my heart into something that would be shared by all of us at Mirage. Stay tuned, because you're about to hear an anthem that will get you moving!

I was around 14/15 years old when i was listening to Martin Garrix's Animals. This track was on every speaker in my locality. I started listening to more of his music on YouTube. It was crazy to see how much crowd was dancing to his music in his sets. It inspired me to make my own music as i used to see myself on stage controlling that crowd!

After seeing Martin's song being played so much around my localitu, I started listening to more of his music on YouTube. It was crazy to see how much crowd was dancing to his music in his sets. It inspired me to make my own music as i used to see myself on stage controlling that crowd!

This song's genre is somewhat a mixture of Pop and house music. i was inspired by the beach type music you hear on a happy sunny day which represented how every member of the fest felt.

To be honest, it has drastically changed. I first used to produce basic edm tracks (which were not even worth listening haha) just to find my style and sound. This not only helped me find new ways to create music but also polished my skills to the next level. My mixes were now a lot cleaner and wider than ever!

I am really inspired Martin Garrix's current style of music as well as KSHMR for his Indian EDM style. I have a lots of ideas going on in my mind to be honest. You never know what genre i might end up producing for the next track.

Definetly Martin Garrix or Hardwell. The energy in their tours are next level!

Has to be Fire by Ytram and ElderBrook. This song has been my personal favorite of all time.

A performance at UMF or Tomorrowland with a 10k+ crowd, dancing to crowd control.

The one i idolize, Martin Garrix. It would be a dream come alive

Fast Success is rarely possible and you need time to invest and polish yourself to outperform others.

The only way to measure success is someone remembering your song. Billions of songs are made but only few are remembered. The listener should include that song as a part of his life.

India's music scene is evergrowing and it is growing more now since the debut of artists like Nucleya and Ritviz. My music aims to be a whole world in itself. I would not prefer to stick to one genre much, but yes i can see myself making more big room and bass house tracks, blended with indian classical instruments,.

In society, artists—including me, though in a somewhat different way—have a variety of roles. Here are a few significant ways that artists contribute:
Creating Culture and Identity: Artists remark on societal issues, cultural standards, and everything in between, reflecting the period they live in. Their work has the power to provoke debate, alter viewpoints, and even motivate social change.
Emotional Expression and Connection: Art is a potent medium for expressing feelings, both universal and personal. Through art, we can feel happiness, sadness, rage, and everything in between, which strengthens our feeling of interconnectedness and humanity.
conserving History and Memory: Through their creations, artists serve as documentarians, conserving cultural history and seizing fleeting moments in time.

Marin Garrix: Animals and Hardwell: Spaceman

The only main reason i continue to create music is that it is an escape from reality. It freshens me up as well as the dream of getting my track played at tomorrowland is what keeps the passion alive.

A lot of my audience is connected through Instagram.
