This song is all about taking chances and doing what you feel called to do if fear were not part of the equation. I've spent so much of my life playing it safe, being a people pleaser, and just holding back. As I started making music and throwing it out for the world to hear, I realized what a "bold" move that was for me. It was so freeing. All the fears I had believed were nothing but lies. I wanted to capture what I went through and make it into an inspirational song that gets people dancing. At the end of the day, I want people to feel good listening to my music - I want it to inspire, uplift, and connect with people who feel similarly to me - there are lots of us out there!
