JayPop Perspective on Baby I Got You

I am JayPop, my music is not just about promoting me. It's about dancing and good solid relationships. In the US we don't dance like we used to. I grew up watching my mom and dad and older siblings dance. Everyone just sits around dancing in their seats or in their own sections now.
Im 18 and it seems to me like no one wants to feel what love is like. I don't think you're soft because you love someone. I feel a greater strength, more confidence, being in love. Im a novice at this obviously but in most if my music I share these sentiments. Share my music with others and share in the JAYPOP experience. More to come! Oh and thank you very much! I also have good manners 😌

My first musical play, I was 9. The production was called "Blind to the Obvious" and it was about the life of Ray Charles, I played Ray. I remember listening to music and singing with my dad when I was 4 years old.

Even as a teenager, I have seen painful relationships and the stress it causes on the mentality of people. If I can avoid that, I'm good. I want no parts of that type of relationship.

I got serious with this music thing and making it a career rather than a hobby when I was sixteen. They girls at school loved my voice and that was enough for me! Lol Naw but seriously that got it started but I wanted to also have a message to share that I believe in as well.

R&B, Pop, Dance, I hope to uplift if that was a genre, that's what I would select.

I would say if I could tour with any artist, it would be Keith Sweat. I respect his works and the foundation he has laid for music of substance.
