Sentari Perspective on No Sombrero

I am Sentari a rising Hip Hop and Neo Soul music artist originally from Ky, residing now in the Saint Louis area. I have been singing since I was 9 months old. Music is embedded in my DNA! I have been seriously pursuing my music career for the last 8 years. I am The My Choice Awards 2023 Queen R&B artist of the year. And I was recently nominated for 4 STL Arts and Entertainment Awards. Walking Bars my first Ep will be released April 4th 2024. I am part owner of Organic Growth and Entertainment Est. 2024 and my music is distributed by Empire. So all eyes on me so as my song says Stay Focused.

My hunger for success plays a major role in my single No Sombrero. It's time for me to go to the next level and get that money. NO CAP! NO SOMBRERO!

My earliest memory is listening to the artist Kesha Cole. But my mom's earliest memory is me sitting in my walker at 9 months old humming the notes to Lauryn Hills break out single, Do Wop (That Thing).

I decided to become an artist/ performer after I relocated to the STL area from Ky. I thought I wanted too go to school to become an fashion designer. But my mom suggested that I take my music serious after she kept hearing me rap and sing; every time she walked by my bedroom door.

No Sombrero is a Hip Hop song.

My sound and style has definitely elevated in the last 3 years due to me performing and seeing that people vibe with my music.

Heart ache, self love, making money and healing are themes that I explore throughout my music.

Lil Baby is an artist that I would go on tour with because I am the female version of him!

Debbie On Block is my favorite song because it is my first break out hit with over 50,000 streams.

My dream performance would be to take the stage at The BET Awards.

I would love to collaborate with Lil Baby!

I want people feel me and my emotions in my music.

The three words I want my fan base to describe me by is a lyricist, hardworking and tenacious.

My favorite way of sharing music is through social media.

My most memorable response that I have had from my work is hearing the audience sing the lyrics to my song Debbie On The Block.

I plan on being an game changer by staying true to myself and my foundation.

If I could alter the music industry in any way it would be to give us independent artists more financial resources. I say this because of the low balling we are receiving from the streaming platforms.

Yes my life is lonely as an artist but I counteract by surrounding myself with family.

I have learned that I can't take everyone where I am going.

My livelihood and my son is driving me to make music.

My overarching goal is for the artist Sentari to be none worldwide!
