David Tindell Perspective on Halfway Home

Beautiful!

Been retired, but I do drive rideshare which is actually what inspired the song "The Man From Austin". It is a 100% accurate portrayal over the conversation that took place between myself and a young man that I picked up on Padre Island and drove to the bus station one morning.

Make it easier for new artists to get heard. If you don't know someone or don't have money to pay someone, nobody outside your personal circle will ever hear your m7sic

I'm not a game-changer, I'm just having fun.

I don't know that I can define it or if I would even want to. For me, I just like to create and if other people like it, that's an added bonus. I have been creating all types of art from the time I was a child and I don't believe I have ever done it to measure up to anything or anyone. I just enjoy making.

The Eagles, John Denver and Metallica.
Their music can never grow old.

The Eagles:
Transformative, Deep, Emotional, Harmonious, Melodic, Masterful and most of all Beautiful

Most of my music is about Love and Life. I am a person who tries to stay positive about everything, I am grateful for every day that I get to wake up, I am blessed to be loved by the most amazing woman and I am fortunate enough to have 5 wonderful children and 8 grandchildren.

Country music, without a doubt

Halfway Home is the thoughts and emotions that I experienced every time I left and came home from my extended stays when I worked in the oilfield.

Husband, father, grandfather, retired small business owner and currently fishing, sippin' whiskey and writing songs.

Late in life, we started our family young so I spent most of my time working to provide.

First favorite song that I sang as a kid was Tom T Hall's "Sneaky Snake". Aside from that, I think I pretty much loved everything from John Denver.
