What jobs have you done other than being an artist?
Answer:

I'm still at school

What has been your most embarassing moment while pursuing music?
Answer:

Singing live and forgetting the lyrics so sequeing into a different song to make it look deliberate - think I got away with it as most of the audiemnce didn;t know the sogs and were drunk :)

What role do you believe the artist has in our society?

To help people forget their everyday lives and be uplifted.

I like it when mainstream musicians comment on my music

What is your favorite way of sharing your music?
Answer:

I like YouTube as people can see a performance - but clearly my favourite is singing live to an audience

Do you practice? How has your practice changed over time?
Answer:

Yes but not enough - I'm singing and learning two instruments, Piano and Guitar and production techniques

What do you want people to feel when they listen to your music?
Answer:

Music is all about human connection so that is the main thing but I like to uplift listeners and make them cry (in a nice way)

Who is your dream artist or musician to collaborate with?
Answer:

Ed Sheeran but I also like Tommy Proffit as he is so creative with sound.

What does your dream performance look like?
Answer:

I would love to sing again at the Royal Albert Hall but next time in my own concert as an adult singer :)

If you could only listen to three artists for the rest of your life, who would you choose and why?
Answer:

Oh that would be Ed Sheeran, Loyle Carner, Eminem

What is your favorite song you have made, and why?
Answer:

I actually like my current song, Joker and the Queen but I also enjoyed singing Cinema Paradiso and many others

If you could attend a performance by any artist, dead or alive, who would you choose and why?
Answer:

Well I've seen Ed Sheeran so that box ticked.   Artic Monkeys too would be nice and I also like a lot of UK Rap

How would you describe your music to someone who has never heard it before?
Answer:

Even though my voice has changed I would say that I have always brought a lot of emotion to my singing and am told brings goosebumps to listeners which is nice to hear.

How would you describe your favorite artist's music to someone who has never heard them before?
Answer:

Just listen and catch the melody and lyrics and let it grow on you

If you could go on tour with any artist, who would it be and why?
Answer:

It would probably have to be Ed Sheeran but I aslo like Ruel a lot.  Love the Artic Monkeys too but not much chance there :)   Eminem would be amazing!

What themes do you explore throughout your music?
Answer:

I'm told that I do Melancholy very well lol !

How has your sound and style evolved in the last 3 years?
Answer:

My style has changed massively from being an all-out chorister singing very classical pieces to more carefully chosen crossover songs and now to more mainsteam but keeping that space around the vocal

What genres does this release play into?
Answer:

This is very much in the Pop-Soul - Folk-Soul genre, with a touch of the classical

At what moment in your life did you decide to become an artist / performer?
Answer:

Not something I made a conscious decision to do; just sort of fallen into it.

What is your earliest memory of listening to music?
Answer:

Ohh probably in the car when I was about 3 years old singing along to Lady GaGa

How does your background play into this song?
Answer:

I've love the way Ed Sheeran & his collaborators write such seemingly effortless songs and I have wanted to cover this for a while but had to wait until my voice had changed grom that of a boy soprano to my new mature()ish) voice

Who are you and what do you do?
Answer:

I'm Cormac (Thompson) and I've been singing and releasing songs since I was 11 years old.   I've released two CD albums - one with UMG when I was 11 and the other as an independent artists in 2023.  I can play the piano and guitar to accompany myself and now starting to write my own songs
