Who are you and what do you do?
Answer:

I am a North East Texas Music Artist that go by Crown100. I do versatile rap and melodic type of music. 

How does your background play into this song?
Answer:

My background is coming from the thangs that I have to do as a person. I am a working family man and I feel like my grind is endless. I wrote this song as a type of motivation and Anthem for myself and others.

What is your earliest memory of listening to music?
Answer:

My childhood coming up very young listening.

At what moment in your life did you decide to become an artist / performer?
Answer:

When I was in junior high watching Rap City on tv.

What genres does this release play into?
Answer:

Hiphop/rap

How has your sound and style evolved in the last 3 years?
Answer:

I have definitely elevated in my sound and style. 

What themes do you explore throughout your music?
Answer:

I am very universal with themes honestly.

If you could go on tour with any artist, who would it be and why?
Answer:

Tito Lopez, J Cole, Kendrick Lamar because I think with these guys there is no telling how creative we could get.

How would you describe your favorite artist's music to someone who has never heard them before?
Answer:

To like the artist I like you definitely gotta have a love for bars and wordplay.

Answer:

My sound is very universal and versatile 

If you could attend a performance by any artist, dead or alive, who would you choose and why?
Answer:

2PAC  because he influenced me the most and he actually stood for something as I do.

What is your favorite song you have made, and why?
Answer:

Staying On My Grind because it motivates me to hear it and it helps with keeping me going.

If you could only listen to three artists for the rest of your life, who would you choose and why?
Answer:

2PAC, J cole, Tito Lopez because they actually stand on morals and principles.

What does your dream performance look like?
Answer:

My Dream Performance is when I come out on stage and there is a couple thousand people that knows my songs just as well as me. It would be hard not to tear up.

Answer:

Tito Lopez, J Cole, Kendrick Lamar, Big Krit.

What is the strangest place where you have discovered a new song?
Answer:

While working in the oil field.

What do you want people to feel when they listen to your music?
Answer:

Inspiration, to be able to relate on songs, having their own spin on what they get from my music, a good message, good barz, and enjoying my world play.

Answer:

Real, humble, and versatile

Answer:

Threw TikTok

Answer:

I do practice and actually my type of practice hasn't changed.

What is the most memorable response you've had to your work?
Answer:

One night my song got a chance to be spun by the Dj. The crowd responded in such a great way I will never forget that.

What is your definition of success as an artist? How do you measure this success?
Answer:

Being well known by your work, being free from my regular job.

How do you plan on being a game-changer within your genre?
Answer:

By trying to restore the essence of hiphop and getting it back to a better place.

What role do you believe the artist has in our society?
Answer:

Being a influence by his or her music works.

Answer:

Dear Mama by 2pac the success in that song was how every race could relate to the message of the song.

What has been your scariest experience while pursuing music?
Answer:

Being scammed 😪 

What has been your most embarassing moment while pursuing music?
Answer:

My show being sabotaged on purpose.

If you could alter the music industry in any way, what would you change and why?
Answer:

I would take away streaming so artist could get paid better. I would make it be more about the digital downloads again.

What jobs have you done other than being an artist?
Answer:

Oil field work was the longest job I have ever done. I worked in that field for years.

How have your other passions reinforced your process of making music?
Answer:

I honestly can't say other then writing a little bit about them.

Has being an artist made your life lonely? How do you counteract this?
Answer:

It hasn't made my life lonely but it is depressing some times.

How would you define having an artistic outlook on life?
Answer:

It's pretty cool to take my outlook and write about it in songs to express it.

Answer:

I can say because I am still writing ✍️

I can't say honestly.

This music stuff is a constant grind.

Answer:

There are People that believe in me plus as long as I have the talent to do it I will. 

What is your overarching goal as an artist?
Answer:

To be free from my regular job and do what I love and make enough money to be comfortable.
