Drewe Perspective on Blank Face

My name is Drewe. I'm a hip hop recording artist.

I reminisce on times when life was difficult but I looked forward and focused through it all.

I remember listening to music in my parents car, my grandparents and my uncle. They all had different taste. My parents mainly listened to RNB, and Gospel. My grandparents listened Jazz, and my uncle listened to hiphop.

I've always been a performer. I went to a performing arts high school and was trained classically in the arts. My parents were both artists so it was second nature.

HipHop, Jazz, Alternative Rap

Over the years I have dabbled with new samples and sounds. I always think that it's good to constantly reinvent yourself. Time moves so you have to move with it.

Life experiences, motivation, God, and having the time of my life.

Kendrick or Ye because our music styles are the same. It would be a good mesh.

Unique, passionate, storytelling, fun, and informative

Jazz influenced, lyrical, modern hiphop

Michael Jackson. He's my favorite artist of all time.

I like all of my songs. 2020 tells a story about despair, picking up the pieces and reinventing yourself.

Kendrick Lamar because he's a ultimate storyteller, Ye because he's a artists artist, and Michael Jackson because he's the goat.

Big stadium, artistic backdrops, great music, dancing, passion, motivation. I want listeners to walk out that night motivated to be the best version of themselves.

Ye

On the toilet.

Chills, motivated, music at its best.

Artistic, futuristic, bold

Through social media.

I practice a lot on sounds and cadences. My way of formatting and creating song has become more fluid and cohesive.

My songs got people through hard times. Those type of words mean alot.

Success is being spiritually whole. I strive for it everyday.

Continue to produce a good sound and build my audience. It'll come.

The artist is the culture. What people wear, how people sound, how we interact and all the above.

Can't Tell Me Nothing by Ye because the track is a anthem to all the haters.

I haven't had one yet.

I haven't had one.

The amount of money DSPs give to artists. It's horrific and a criminal offense.

Every 9-5 you can name. I'm a true hustler.

Sports, media and culture go hand and hand with hiphop.

In ways yes. It's put you in isolation but I've began to work with other artists so it's an actual experience creating and engineering a body of work this time around.

Knowing that art and life needs patience. Art and life needs passion as well as consistency.

My next piece of art.

Jazz, HipHop, Soul, RNB, and Alternative Rap

Ye, Kendrick and Cole

Keep going. Don't stop.

I love the art form. I love being artistic.

To be the best artist I can be.
