Cometkazi Perspective on Cold heart

this song was written while i was sitting at the beach in jacksonville at like 2am and i feel like God spoke to me while i was writing this song. very powerful and one of my favorites.

My name is Kyle Lixie i go by the stage name Cometkazi. I write and record rap/hip-hop songs. i tell my life stories through the songs i write and share the knowledge/wisdom ive obtained through the things ive been through in life.

my earliest memory of listening to music was probably when i was about 6 or 7 years old my parents got me a cd/radio player for me for christmas one year. my dad had a whole collection of cds and i remember listening to his red hot chili pepper, Led Zepplin, and beastie boys cds everynight before i went to sleep.

the moment when i first heard the mixtape no ceilings by lil wayne when i was in 5th grade. i fell in love with the beats, the creativity of the way he put his words together to make something that sounds good ad makes you think at the same time.

this release plays into the rap/hip-hop genre.

has evolved much better in terms of sound quality

i explore Life circumstances. good and bad. i also explore God and spirituality alot in my music because i believe in God. i believe Jesus suffered, died, and was buried for the forgiveness of my sins but he rose from his grave which is a miracle. ive had miracles happen for me in my life that can only be explained by God which is what made me believe. i also explore being in the street, drug/alcohol addiction which are all things that ive had to overcome.

i would say any of my influences in music but theres alot so if i had to pick a few it would be eminem because he is one of my biggest influences and he is extremly talented, also older and wiser then me so i could learn alot from him same for lil wayne. i would also love to tour with Nicki Minaj because i noticed she has made songs that talk about and glorify God which is what im aiming to do.

lyrical genius, amazing song writer, can learn alot from them through there music but ultimately they make music that you can feel.

original, different then most other rap that is out right now, full of wisdom and energy!

if dead artist is an option then i would have to say Mac Miller because i love his music when he first came out like his album K.I.D.S and best day ever.

my favorite song that i have made would have to be prevail because it was very therapeutic for me to get those words and feelings out of me and even though it is a sad song it has a positive message.

anywhere warm and tropical with thousands of people singing along with me to one of my songs!
