J 2 5 Perspective on Rockstar

I am Jashua McElrath, hailing from the quaint town of Akron, Ohio. Presently, I am an artist and the proprietor of an apparel brand imbued with a compelling and universally resonant positive message.

One of my earliest memories of experiencing music dates back to listening to Michael Jackson's impactful tracks 'Heal the World' and 'Man in the Mirror,' as well as Usher's seminal album '8701'.

Captivating, relatable , optimistic 

I firmly believe that artists play a pivotal role in our society by wielding words that carry profound weight for individuals. However, these same words possess the transformative power to uplift and inspire. Moreover, music, being a universal language, holds the ability to resonate with and influence everyone.

One of the most daunting challenges lies in fully accepting oneself and learning to disregard the opinions of even those closest to us.

Undoubtedly, the journey of an artist is imbued with a unique sense of solitude, stemming from our inherent creativity and the often-misunderstood canvas we strive to paint for others. This sense of isolation is further compounded when those within our immediate circles fail to appreciate, encourage, or align with our aspirations for greatness, instead choosing to compete or even resent our pursuits. Thus, the life of an artist can indeed evoke profound feelings of loneliness.

There was a pivotal moment in my life when I penned a poem for my father's funeral. Its resonance with those in attendance, likening it to a rhythmic rap, sparked within me a desire to delve into music. Initially grappling with self-doubt, I questioned my aptitude. However, a decisive shift in mindset propelled me forward, enabling me to refine my craft and enhance my artistry.

I am indebted to my high school English teacher, who recognized the uniqueness of my writing, and my math teacher, who bestowed upon me a journal. Their encouragement and support were instrumental in uncovering my latent writing abilities, for which I am deeply grateful.

Beyond beats and rhymes, J 2 5 delves into the human experience with authenticity, aiming to impact lives rather than change the world. His music encourages listeners to think better, do better, and be better.
