Hunter. Perspective on Rain

I'm a 27 year old recording artist from Spokane, WA. I grew up writing poetry and eventually turned that into music. I taught myself how to sing and have enjoyed trying to mkae every song different, with a different sound on each one.

The backround of this song plays in the words, the words are truth from my experience as a human being in life and what alcohol and drug addiction can truly do to your soul. Music plays a huge part in my sobriety and im thankful for it.

With my dad in his truck, he used to sing at the top of his lungs (he was good too)!

When i was inspired by a few close friends/artists and I realized I had a talent for music from my poetry.

This genre I dont really know, it can play into many because I am so versitile in each song. This song came strait from my soul, tears, and experience. I would say indie, soul, r&b.

Singing has definetely gotten better, my writing is more technical, and the songs have become more radio like/memorizable.

Experience, love, hurt, and trials in life.

Blackbear, I relate so much to alot of his songs, and his voice has always spoke to me in a way no one else could.

Someone who writes catchy, sad or upbeat songs, but means every word.

Popish, but has a mix of r&b/hiphop/rap in some songs. It is kind of all over the place depending on what comes to mind when writing.

Blackbear, he's my idol and who I look up to, or listen to and never get tired of it.

Rain is so far, because it meant so much to me. Every word, every emotion in my voice.

Blackbear, Jeremy Zucker, Marc E Bassy because each one relates lyrics to my life.

A huge stage with my family in the front row, next to my favorite artist on stage with me.

Blackbear or Jeremy Zucker.

In the bathroom lol

That they relate, or they understand were all similar in some way. Most of all happy.

Catchy, different, and real.

In my truck with my friends, or making little promo videos on tiktok.

Everyday, I practice each new song until I feel it's ready to record.

"Wow this is amazing, everyone should hear this."

To be worldly known, in a good way. Still a good person and a family man that stays true to what I want to write about.

Being different in every song.

Influenece in the words they say.

Come up or Rain because they both talk about struggles in different ways.

Nothing too bad, but not everyone will like your music and that's okay!

My first songs were not the best, I keep them private for a good laugh sometimes.

The media is rediculous, let artist's live! They are humans too.

I'm currently a welder, and father to a 6 year old.

Not so much passions, but emotions and experience have helped guide me to songs.

Once I got sober definetely changed alot of friendships. I found who the true ones were.

No matter what you go through, music or any type of art can definetely guide you through.

It makes me feel good, I love hearing the song after it's mastered, and showing ones close to me.

You'll only be better the more you experience in life. Otherwise, you'll have nothing real to write about.

To help people through struggles, make them feel good inside and put positivity into the world.
