PianobyG Perspective on Nostalgic Romance
The constant need to outdo each song that I release. As well as gain respect in my genre.
This song was inspired by a past romance. Hence the name (Nostalgic Romance).
My goal was to create a song and a feeling that would move the listener. Another goal that I had was to land an editorial playlist on Spotify, which I did.
I think creating a song in my genre is difficult because I try to create a new sound. All the big artists in my genre, for example Tom Merrall, they all have the same basic "ASMR" sound effects and peddling. I think most of that music is uninspired and boring.
I have received many DM's on social media of people saying my work has helped them during work, school, or to help them calm down. I think it's really cool when that happens.
