Amagiri Young Perspective on Hustlers

Amagiri Young is a Hiphop recording artist, songwriter and upcoming music producer from New York.

Growing up in poverty compelled Amagiri Young to develop ways to feed himself and his family. As a youth Amagiri use to rent his bike out to the og's on the block for 5-10 dollars. With this hustle Amagiri would buy him and his friends ice cream off the ice cream truck.

My earliest memory of listening to music was at 9 years old listening to Duwop and DJ Clue mixtapes.

Since childhood I've always had a passion for music and would even use my imagination to pretend I was being interviewed my mainstream Hiphop radio stations.

Hip-Hop and Rap

My sound has evolved over time because my songwriting became better and I incorporated more melodies and harmonies into my flow and song concepts.

50 cent, because are styles are similar in the way we incorporate Hiphop, R&B and gangster rap into our compositions.

Tupac Shakur music is passionate, influential and very relatable.

Tupac or Biggie, because as two of hip hop's greatest mc's I would love to have had the opportunity to watch them perform live.

The artist paints a picture of life, the things we enjoy and love, the things that make us sad, makes us cry, the trials and triumphs. The artist observes and consumes his/her environment, and is able to articulate those emotions through music and song.

Alone is when I am able to dig deepest into my creativity cloud and create some of my best work. I tend to travel and experience new things to counteract the loneliness that comes with it.

Independent artist would be recognized more and not overshadowed by major label politics
