Who are you and what do you do?
Answer:

I'm Lolife Blacc and I'm a hip hop /rap artist.

How does your background play into this song?
Answer:

Being from the south, going out west is always a dream but never put in to action due to the invisible walls we create being comfortable in what and where we know. This song talks of myself and Longway rapping about the lavish life taking frequent trips to California to make their dreams come true. Lolife even now resides there when he's not working or campaigning in the native city of Atlanta.

What is your earliest memory of listening to music?
Answer:

Watching Shawty Lo, Dem Franchise Boyz and other industry notebles become who they are in front of my eyes. Growing up in the complex Bowen Homes we all literally saw them everyday, made it possible to become somebody.

At what moment in your life did you decide to become an artist / performer?
Answer:

I was engineering and producing for Peewee Longway. I would pitch a few lines and bars to him in the booth and one day told myself i coudl do it, and never looked back.

What genres does this release play into?
Answer:

Rap / Southern Rap

How has your sound and style evolved in the last 3 years?
Answer:

I've gotten more comfortabe in my flow, my beat selection is flawless and the bars I deleiver with my team of producers has been bringning in flawless victory numbers.

What themes do you explore throughout your music?
Answer:

I take a trip down to the dark depths of my mind and rap about what I see, what I want and a million routes to get it.

If you could go on tour with any artist, who would it be and why?
Answer:

I'd have to say Future, I feel like I bring what's needed to a show for Pluto.

How would you describe your favorite artist's music to someone who has never heard them before?
Answer:

I grew up on Rocko & Gucci. Taught me how to hustle!

How would you describe your music to someone who has never heard it before?
Answer:

If you needed that "Push It" by Rick Ross type motivation, you play my music with a trap flow!

If you could attend a performance by any artist, dead or alive, who would you choose and why?
Answer:

Young Dolph, shortly before he passed we started crossing paths more frequently. I know where I am now seeing my boy stage side would be next level.

What is your favorite song you have made, and why?
Answer:

Can't reveal that just yet just know it's on my upcoming album dropping in spring.

If you could only listen to three artists for the rest of your life, who would you choose and why?
Answer:

Future, Rocko & Gucci Mane. They keep so many flows it's impossible to get tired of them and if that 's the rest of my life I'm playing them I can live a nice while.

What does your dream performance look like?
Answer:

A sold out arena of all types of people rapping this trap vernacular with me word for word, lit up!

Who is your dream artist or musician to collaborate with?
Answer:

Future.

What do you want people to feel when they listen to your music?
Answer:

The energy and ambition I'm rapping to go beyond I ever thought my limits could take me as a kid. Hear the inspiration in my bars.

What three words would you want your fanbase to use to describe you?
Answer:

They'd describe me as gritty, witty with the punch line and a villain with a microphone.

What is your favorite way of sharing your music?
Answer:

I like direct to consumer. I know who my market is, and i know how to cater to them.

Do you practice? How has your practice changed over time?
Answer:

No way, I just get in the booth and give some wordplay until I catch my flow.
