Drxwy Perspective on Too Late

i am Drxwy (Dru-ee) and i am a singer and songwriter.

it started from listening to a lot of bands like metallica, falling in reverse, and sleeping with sirens but began to venture out to listening to different genres like r&b and hiphop. more specifically, bryson tiller & drake.

considering i didn't have the best childhood and was going through a lot at the time of writing this song, it just felt right.

what really started everything was when i was  writing for people in my school who were rappers at the time and it was a bit corny at first but i eventually got better with my pen and used it for my own work.

i don't usually have a specific theme. i usually go with whatever comes to mind and i just write it these days but for this song in particular, i've touched on the loneliness i felt when i was homeless back in November 2022 and dealing with a lot of fake friends at the time who only wanted to be around me for who i was and who i knew.

i would have to say Bryson Tiller or Kanye West because i've actually studied their music, along with some others, once i became an artist so i feel like it would make sense.

very soulful and out of the box.

Travis Scott because even watching his performances on youtube get me hyped so i would love to experience that in person.

Too Late will forever be my favorite because the amount of emotion i put into it and my audience could definitely feel what i'm saying.
