Perignon954 Perspective on Cool Whip (Freestyle)

From a tender age, my musical journey commenced. I vividly recall the inaugural moment I took to the drums in our church, the electric surge coursing through my entire being. Striking my first beat, even a simple one, sent shockwaves through the church musicians, all astounded that the three-year-old version of myself could effortlessly command the rhythm. Weeks spent meticulously observing the church drummer culminated in a moment of readiness, marking the revelation that music would become an integral part of my life.
Fast forward a few years, and I found myself joining the elementary school drumline. One standout memory was the pivotal role I played as the bass drum maestro during the six-structure parade—the very embodiment of a showstopper. The euphoria of having hundreds of people cheering me on, their faces adorned with smiles, remains etched in my memory. I realized that my musical prowess had the power to infuse happiness and excitement into the crowd, evoking a sense of fulfillment unparalleled by any other experience at that time.

My introduction to the world of hip-hop is anchored in the evocative notes of Eminem's "Stan." In the early days, armed with my trusty portable CD player, I found myself spellbound by this haunting melody. The sample resonated with such emotional intensity that I couldn't help but succumb to its enchantment, compelling me to immerse myself in a repetitive loop of the song. It became an immersive experience, prompting me to delve into a lyrical journey where every word became etched in my memory.

In the realm of music, I draw inspiration from the industry's titans. My musical journey has traversed various genres, including the rich landscapes of Jazz and the timeless allure of Classical compositions. I firmly believe that the creative process knows no bounds. Over time, I found a profound connection with Hip Hop, immersing myself in the artistry of revered figures such as Lil Wayne. This admiration paved the way for my discovery of musical luminaries like Drake, Kendrick Lamar, and J Cole, all of whom significantly shaped my musical preferences.
Among these influences, Drake holds a special place in my heart, especially in the creation of this particular song. It's an homage to his original beat from one of my favorite tracks on CLB, "Fair Trades," a piece that resonated deeply with me.

I was born and raised in Fort Lauderdale, FL where I currently reside and side from being a Recording Artist, Song Writer, and Producer I'm also an Executive Account Manager for a Prestigious Restoration Company.
