Who are you and what do you do?
Answer:

I'm Brian Weston but most people know me as... It'Z Ya Boy Bug-Z!

I'm a content creator, Rapper and YouTuber (Automotive & Motorcyles) 

*I also am an certified audio engineer and commerical part 107 drone pilot 

How does your background play into this song?
Answer:

I wanted to make a song that anyone who is going threw the notions of fake friends and loneliness can relate too.

What is your earliest memory of listening to music?
Answer:

When I was a young child my mom would listen to Montell Jordan and Salt N Peppa.

My mother was a bartender at nightclubs back in the 80's and more importantly the 1990's.

My mom would take me to work with her where the DJ would "Baby Sit" & make me mixtapes! 

I would rap songs for my moms friends and know the words better than them especailly Puff Daddy.

I ened up in foster/ group homes where I began to write lyrics heavily inspried by early Eminem/ Slim Shady.

In middle scool I wore G-Unit clothing and was a huge fan of 50 Cent. Now asw an adult I have an collab with Tony Yayo!

At what moment in your life did you decide to become an artist / performer?
Answer:

I decided to take music career seriously in 15' when I recorded my single "Good Mood" at the Hit Factory in Miami, FL.

Since then ive posted 15 Music Vids on WorldstarHipHop.com and have ton of gold AND platinum rapper collaborations!

Answer:

Eminem, Fetty Wap and Jay-Z

Do you have one main reason driving you to continue making music?
Answer:

I want my recognition until then no intermission... Bug-Z 

Which mediums of art do you most identify with?
Answer:

I'm not sure what a medium is... Is'nt that a ghost hunter? lol

Anyways... I enjoy Comedy, Horror and hours of YouTube content!

What is the most memorable response you've had to your work?
Answer:

I've had people tell me my music saved their lives and my mind was absoulutely blown!

What is the most significant lesson you've learned through being an artist?
Answer:

Answer:

Hip Hop/ Rap and maybe Alternative/ Emo?! 

How has your sound and style evolved in the last 3 years?
Answer:

I've maintainted a classic early 00's/ old skool 1990's style since I began rapping as an adolescent.

What themes do you explore throughout your music?
Answer:

This song deals with depression and social anxiety amongst other deep topics. 

If you could go on tour with any artist, who would it be and why?
Answer:

I've always dreamed of being a part of RGF aka Fetty Wap label but as of now that cannot be. 

I'd also love to go on tour with 50 Cent and G-Unit if that was ever an possibilty as well etc

I made "Monster Jam" rap/ theme song. So... I'd love to tour the Monster Truck Circuit. 

How would you describe your favorite artist's music to someone who has never heard them before?
Answer:

Harmonic/ Melodic... Funk inspired with a modern hiphop/ R&B twist. 

How would you describe your music to someone who has never heard it before?
Answer:

Down to earth, authetnic and genunine. I put my all into my concept, craft and material!

Answer:

"Monster Jam" (Remix) featuring Bubba Sparxxx.

I'm a die hard Monster Trucks fan since I was a little kid. 

I went to event for my 30th B-Day and noticed they didnt have a song.

I went home, wrote lyrics, recorded song, mixed, mastered, featured and BOOM!

The next thing I know it's playing at stadiums around the country with kids making TikTok videos. 

If you could attend a performance by any artist, dead or alive, who would you choose and why?
Answer:

Soundgarden... R.I.P Chris Cornell #Outshined 

If you could only listen to three artists for the rest of your life, who would you choose and why?
Answer:

Fetty Wap, NBA Young Boy and Myself.

What does your dream performance look like?
Answer:

I'd love to perform live at Monster Jam World Finals.

What is the strangest place where you have discovered a new song?
Answer:

At work. I'm a car salesman. I sell Dodge (Mopar or No Car). 

There is a club song i'm not sure the lyrics but it sounds like he's saying "Clown Dust"

I run around the dealership chanting Clown Dust to my co-workers pretty much on daily basis. 

Who is your dream artist or musician to collaborate with?
Answer:

I've been wanting to collaborate with Fetty Wap since 2015. I'd like to work with NBA Young Boy as well. 

What do you want people to feel when they listen to your music?
Answer:

The attention to detail I bring to my lyrics inorder to illustrate the concept i've chosen for my songs. 

What is your favorite way of sharing your music?
Answer:

I enjoy YouTube Shorts. I tend to get ALOT more plays/ streams/ views than normal. 

What three words would you want your fanbase to use to describe you?
Answer:

Authentic, Genuine, Real

Do you practice? How has your practice changed over time?
Answer:

I feel my enitre music career up until this point has all been practice. I strive to go BIGGER with each and every project!

What is your definition of success as an artist? How do you measure this success?
Answer:

When you make more money off of music than you've invested. Also get recognition for your talent from those you care for.

How do you plan on being a game-changer within your genre?
Answer:

With my creativity. I feel nobody can top the amount of effort I put into standing out from the pack. NEVER generic!

What role do you believe the artist has in our society?
Answer:

To recreate themselves time and time again in the constant pursuit of obtaining impossible perfection.

Answer:

"Lose Yourself" by Eminem. 

An award winning anthem to an film loosely based on his real life struggles prior to success. 

What has been your scariest experience while pursuing music?
Answer:

Seeing other artist in my genre constantly get murdered. I have PTSD stemming from being abducted as a youth.

What has been your most embarassing moment while pursuing music?
Answer:

I gave my mixtape out at my local 7/11 and the person drove by me and threw it out the window while laughing.

If you could alter the music industry in any way, what would you change and why?
Answer:

I'd increase the amount of money per stream we get paid as independent musicians. 

What jobs have you done other than being an artist?
Answer:

Audio Engineer, Car Salesman, Drone Pilot, Motorcycle Salesman, Uber + Uber Eats.

How have your other passions reinforced your process of making music?
Answer:

Im a perfectionist when it comes to mixing and mastering. And... I'm etremely hands on with my visual productions.

Has being an artist made your life lonely? How do you counteract this?
Answer:

In public im very energetic and out going to the point of when i'm at home I feel drained and like my peace and quiet. 

How would you define having an artistic outlook on life?
Answer:

Taking inspiriation from the elements and manifesting creativty out of thin air.

What is your overarching goal as an artist?
Answer:

To become financially free due to the extradordianry amount of talent I have within my passion.
