Who are you and what do you do?

Answer:

I am Visionz of Insanity, a nordic hip hop artist from Saginaw, MI.

How does your background play into this song?

Answer:

This song was written during a ton of self-reflection and healing within myself. After understanding that my entire life has been filled with individuals that only stay as long as I am of some use to them. Either in personal relationships, family relationships, it didn't matter. They only stayed as long as I was giving them what they wanted, and the second they didn't get what they wanted, they disappeared from my life.

What is your earliest memory of listening to music?

Answer:

I have been listening to music for as long as I can recollect. Music has always been my escape and my peace. It has always been there for me even when the rest of the world hasn't been.

At what moment in your life did you decide to become an artist / performer?

Answer:

Since I was a very young kid. I've been perfoming my own songs since an early age.

What genres does this release play into?

Answer:

This is a conscious hip hop song that dives into how it feels to be on the outside looking into your life and understanding that you are not valued by anyone within your life.

How has your sound and style evolved in the last 3 years?

Answer:

My style and sound has developed into a hybrid of conscious hip hop mixed within the realm of horrorcore. I enjoy the darkness within the spirit to allow for the light to be found within the abyss.
