Michael Huber Perspective on Take You To The Stars

Freddy Mercy with Queen, without hesitation. I had the chance to see them three times. Fabulous performance, general ambience, the interaction with the public.
On the other hand, David Bowie impressed me when he told the parisian audience he would not start the concert, if the violent pushing would not stop.

1967 Lucy in the sky with diamonds

The cool guy type that does not want to to the same. That is why my sound is unconventional.
Always something happening.
German origin, from record salesman to PC repairman to Hamburger cook to composer of all styles of music.
Now succesful playlist curator.

Take you to the stars is clearly pop.
But the soundtrack tells the story frame by frame and would be instrumental except for the excellent title song "Look Back" written and performed by 'Lizzie'.

Made mostly electronic related sounds with a lot of rock and world music elements. The kind of that was not following patterns.
Than Covid came and I was working on more structured compositions. The result being 2 soundtracks of short french movies.
'R.I.A.' being purely electronic and 'Look Back' my first organic album since I started in 1999.

The Beatles - Their music is a great example of musical development and creativity. Not only they inspired many generations but also invented so many styles that are still in use today. Listening to their catalog opens your artistical spirit for sure. They were not only Pop, but also, Metal, Blues, Comedy, Rock, Harmonies, Electronica, Country.....

Liberty of expression, Depression, Love, Hope, Non conform & Hapiness!

Udo Lindenberg. This guy has written the most brilliant lyrics throughout of his career. I would love to sing along his words with this gentleman.

Great performers and musicians playing my music.

I want people to accept that my music comes from my guts and even though it is non conform, there is beauty in my musical chaos

The Beatles - I would never be bored.
Ludvig van Beethoven - His ninth alone I could listen to endlessly
Mike Oldfield - Any time I listen, Mike's music fascinates me

Christ of Saint John of the cross by Salvatore Dali

To divert and sometimes to advertise problems

Never boring and really something else.

I guess when the public shows their love and support, than an artist is succesful. Money does not mean anything, in my opinion.
I am not lying, if I had a big machinery to support me and made a lot of money in the process, I would be glad.
But success is not measured by that.

Paul McCartney

No doubt, ABBA with Waterloo
Name one artist that started a World career, with a passage to the ESC, and still 50 years later is not only remembered, but loved by millions of fans all over the world. Even in a small african town with no internet, TV, they sing Abba songs.

Decision (Outtake) from the same album as 'Take you to the Stars' - "Look Back"
The director of this short movie, prefered 'Lizzie's' song throughout the final scene and thought it was childish.
Fact is, it would have fit perfectly to the scenario. Main reason it is my favorite song is that it represents everything I always wanted to be as an artist, when I come to think of it. Structured, having an artist singing, beautiful melody and most of all, making sense.

To entertain!
