Answer:

To bring back that real and relatable music, one song at a time! 

Do you have one main reason driving you to continue making music?
Answer:

My main driving factor is just a passion for sharing life experiences through music. 

Who is your dream artist or musician to collaborate with?
Answer:

My dream would be to have a collaboration with either Tank or Eric Bellinger. 

Who are you and what do you do?
Answer:

What's up everyone? I go by C.LACY and I'm a R&B singer-songrwriter from Dallas, TX. 

What is your earliest memory of listening to music?
Answer:

I've been infactuated with music every since I was a young child. I would say my earliest memories would be hearing to my mother listen to blues since I was in grade school. 

How has your sound and style evolved in the last 3 years?
Answer:

Absolutely! When I first began recording music, I wanted to sound like all of my favorire artists. Then, I quickly came to find out that it was ok to be myself and continued to work on that C.LACY sound. 

What role do you believe the artist has in our society?
Answer:

To inspire imagination and creativity in the world. I do this through song and through my life experiences. 

What is the most significant lesson you've learned through being an artist?
Answer:

The most significant lesson that I've learned is not to allow the doubt of others to hinder my dream. It is okay if other people don't believe in your vision, because it is not the dream or passion that God gave them.

Ne-Yo, Tank, and Sammie.

What do you want people to feel when they listen to your music?
Answer:

When people listen to my music they feel included and connected to the story being told through song. 

At what moment in your life did you decide to become an artist / performer?
Answer:

I knew from a young age that I wanted to be an artist and performer. I grew up participating in various talent shows and always received a favorable response. From then, I knew this was something that I wanted to do.
