What is the most significant lesson you've learned through being an artist?
Answer:

there is art and stories in all types of things

Which mediums of art do you most identify with?
Answer:

Music and paintings/drawings. I love the stories people are able to create through those mediums

How would you define having an artistic outlook on life?
Answer:

I find beauty in everything almost. I think there are stories in all things old. Art is everywhere and there are people that can channel some of those views into some type of art.

How have your other passions reinforced your process of making music?
Answer:

I dont give up once i start things. The way i look at it is ive opened this can of worms, I have to see it through now

What has been your most embarassing moment while pursuing music?
Answer:

i havent had any yet

What has been your scariest experience while pursuing music?
Answer:

I guess not believing my music will become mainstream. I still have doubt. It helps me at the same time i think because it keeps me wanting to get better.

Has being an artist made your life lonely? How do you counteract this?
Answer:

I dont believe so. I think it gives me different ways to look at situations. Writing music rather then painting a picture you can detail for views a little easier i think. Having a open mind plays a part in all things to me.  

Do you have one main reason driving you to continue making music?
Answer:

I love this ish! Music is my happy place. I get to get away mentally when writing my music

What is your favorite work of art?
Answer:

Jay Z's Blueprint, Wu-Tang's Olny built 4 cuban linx. Both of those albums speak for thereselves. 

What jobs have you done other than being an artist?
Answer:

I have a degree in Mechatronics and Industrial Technology. Engineering is how i provide for my family. Would love to change it to Music.

What role do you believe the artist has in our society?
Answer:

For music, Narrator. For the most part we are wordsmiths and story tellers. You should be able to relate to an artist you listen to i think

Name a song that best represents success to you, and why?
Answer:

Juicy. Could'nt anyone do it better then Big!

What is your definition of success as an artist? How do you measure this success?
Answer:

To me success would be when people I admire already in the game start taking notice. And the finances even out. 

How do you plan on being a game-changer within your genre?
Answer:

I don't try copying anyone so I believe my music is authentic. I hope to start a wave where people want to uplift and make you smile with their music. I completly believe that when I'm heard people will listen and start picking up what i'm putting down.

What is the most memorable response you've had to your work?
Answer:

Being told that they understand where im coming from. That always feels good.

What three words would you want your fanbase to use to describe you?
Answer:

lyrical, Thirl, relatable 

What do you want people to feel when they listen to your music?
Answer:

camaraderie. If you came up where i came up you can relate to my lyrics.

Who is your dream artist or musician to collaborate with?
Answer:

Lauren Hill. Queen

What is your favorite song you have made, and why?
Answer:

  i havent released My favorite song yet because i want it to get everywhere. Its called Streets raised me. From Whats released i would say pain of au lost. It's the conent that makes it my favorite and the responses from listeners.

If you could attend a performance by any artist, dead or alive, who would you choose and why?
Answer:

Micheal Jackson. That was easy. For obvious reasons ofcourse.

How would you describe your music to someone who has never heard it before?
Answer:

My music is a chill vibe with interesting content. I care alot about the lyrics so it could be good for motivational uses. Most people thats experienced hardships from growing up in poverty could relate to my music.

How would you describe your favorite artist's music to someone who has never heard them before?
Answer:

Check this Joka out!! 

If you could go on tour with any artist, who would it be and why?
Answer:

Drake or Kanye! Being associated with either is a sign you've made it. I love a bunch of different artist though and being invited on anyones tour would be a great accomplishment. 

What themes do you explore throughout your music?
Answer:

Most of my writing happens when im driving. I find alot of inspirations from beats on beatstars. Catchy phrases and memories that cross my mind is what winds up in a song.

How has your sound and style evolved in the last 3 years?
Answer:

Ive had writers block for a long time. I could'nt get going. I fell back in love with writing music in a think 2020. Since then I've been just sharpening my sword for the oppurtunity of sharing it with the world.

What genres does this release play into?
Answer:

Rap/ Hip Hop

At what moment in your life did you decide to become an artist / performer?
Answer:

Ive been writing raps since middle school i think. Gillespie Middle right next to Simon Gratz High. Early 90's. Im throwback!

What is your earliest memory of listening to music?
Answer:

I listen to Everything except heavy metal! Thats no shade to artist of that genre either. I enjoy peoples instruments with melodic beats. It just feels good ;)

How does your background play into this song?
Answer:

I grew up in North Philadelphia and SouthWest Philadelphia. I've experienced the juvile justice system and adult system because of influences growing up in those streets. I'm a survivor of the trenches. The music i make is a product of those experiences. 

Who are you and what do you do?
Answer:

Im Da Oldhead from Philadelphia and Virginia Beach. Hip Hop head since the 90's. I make OldHeadMusic out of love for the art and culture. My message is the streets are not what they are said to be. Ive been around the block and got some stories to tell about the ride. Tune in.

What is your favorite way of sharing your music?
Answer:

Studio sessions. Im not in a rush to perform. I suffer from shyness. That just glorifies my nuttass oldheadism
