YME MUSIC
My name is Ymkje de Bijl, i live in Venlo, The Netherlands. I am writing and producing my own songs.
Well, at a very young age i was diagnosed with classical autism, all of my songs are basically about my personal experiences and how i deal with autism.
'I Rule The World' is about growing up as an adult and making my own choises in life, something that is not so easy while having autism.
Oh i started listening to music when i was about 3 years old.
From the moment i went on stage during a concert from my mom, i was about 7 years old back then.
It's a electronic pop, alternative song.
I started in 2021 with my first release 'Uncontrollable Feeling' which was a song i wrote about a recent period in my life when i had panis attacks. It was more of like a self healing proces. The sound in that song stands for my emotional feelings back then, it was absolutely not for commercial purposes, in the following releases i tried to be more commercial soundwise.
Basically about personal experience.
Definately Billie Eilish, she is my insperation, the first time i went to a concert was Billie.
It's energetic, honest and i have my own sound. Just listen to it!
'SERPENT' it's my latest track, i always love my new baby, it is still unreleased.

At the toilet.
Sure i need to practice, i take singing lessons to work on my voice.
When i reach a top 10 position in a billboard list. My song 'I Rule the World' is currently being played on several radio stations around the globe. That gives me recognision as an artist.
Always being honest and try to give back some strenght and recognition in my songs to help people with simular issues.
I think some artist can have a strong voice in many struggles in life and in general world problems as well.
'I Rule the World' because that's what i am figuring out right now!
Non at all.
Don't focus so much on the big ones, give the unknow a better platform, they need it more than ever!
I feel more confident and secure to do other things that i like.
In some way yes, i noticed that certain people avoid me because they think my lyrics are about them.
Just be happy every day and keep pushing.
Writing music for sure.
I guess it's Snapchat for the moment, it makes me laugh a lot.
That i am ready for the big jump.
I just love making music, exploring beats.
Recognition as an artist in all it's forms.
