Who are you and what do you do?
Answer:

My name is David Heckscher and I am a singer/song writer. I created the band, The Round Table Knights.

How does your background play into this song?
Answer:

This particular song was written with the intention of bringing back a sound that reminds us all of our first crush or first love. Personally, every summer growing up I would develop some sort of crush and this song acts as a reminder of those innocent times.

What is your earliest memory of listening to music?
Answer:

I began listening to music on the radio at the age of three.

At what moment in your life did you decide to become an artist / performer?
Answer:

12 years of age

What genres does this release play into?
Answer:

How has your sound and style evolved in the last 3 years?
Answer:

The sound and style changes with every song. I like the song to dictate where it goes.

What themes do you explore throughout your music?
Answer:

I prefer to write about love and relationships.

Answer:

I try as a writer to check all the boxes. As a band, we try to create something for everyone.

I have no favorites.They are my children.

Someone told me they instantly found themselves at a cafe on the street with an instant crush on someone. They knocked their coffee all over themselves.

It is a gift. I can keep it to myself or I can share it. I choose to share it.

Answer:

For every person who likes or loves your work, there are always those in larger numbers, who recent you and your success.

Do you have one main reason driving you to continue making music?

I have no choice. It comes out whether I want it to or not.

What is your overarching goal as an artist?

My goal is to have my songs played during people's special occasions.
