My legal name is Jeremy Lamar Barkley better known as FLA Toot. I'm a rap artist.

How does your background play into this song?

Answer:

I have been through a lot, and learning how to move in these streets is crucial. This song basically reminds the people of that. I have been in the streets for a while now, and music is my way out.

What is your earliest memory of listening to music?

Answer:

My earliest memory was listening to Wu Tan Clan when they first came out. Music is my passion.

At what moment in your life did you decide to become an artist / performer?

Answer:

Honestly, I decided to do music last year. I always knew how to rap but never took it seriously until last year.
