About:
Mostly influenced by British goth rock, Venezuelan Zapato 3 burst into the local rock scene in the mid-'80s, issuing their debut album, called exis, Furia y Languidez, in 1989, followed by Bésame y Suicídate in 1991 and Separación in 1994. A year later, guitarist Alvaro Segura, singer Carlos Segura, bassist Fernando Batoni, keyboardist Jaime Verdaguer, and drummer Rafael Cadavieco returned with a less-dark record called Cápsulas Para Volar. The group made Ecos Punzantes del Ayer in 1999. ~ Drago Bonacich, Rovi
