Peggy Sarlin is a singer/songwriter in New York whose imaginative, heartfelt songs explore her favorite topic - love love love. She's written for Bette Midler and Disney, and been hailed as a "brilliant songstress" with an "eclectic and unique sound" by Kurrent Magazine; Jazz Jams Radio UK says, "Peggy Sarlin has a voice that's got soul swelling from within!" Peggy has written scripts for some of the finest shows on Disney, Nickelodeon, and PBS, and The New Yorker magazine just featured a tv musical that she co-wrote starring Patti LuPone. She's also a best-selling author/broadcast journalist on brain health whose most recent docuseries, Regain Your Brain, garnered more than 3 million views. Peggy has released two albums of original songs, FRIENDS AND FAMILY, and LET THERE BE LOVE to great critical acclaim. Her Smokin' Hot Band features masterful NYC musicians Jeff Franzel, Askold Buk, Steve Williams, and Paul Frazier. Peggy's new blues-infused music is inspired by the emotional turmoil of her husband's stroke, and provides a way to channel the pain into something joyous and fulfilling to share with other people.
