About:
Nashville based bluesman Patrick Sweany fuses elements of Americana and southern rock to produce his distinctive, soulful stylings. He rose to prominence in the late 90’s and later formed the trio, The Patrick Sweany Band, featuring Dan Auerbach of The Black Keys among a revolving cast of musicians. He signed with Nine Mile Records in 2006, to release C’Mon C’Mere -- the first of six albums on the label (two produced by Auerbach). Sweany spends a great deal of time on the road, having played 48 states and much of Europe. He's played premiere festivals (Newport Folk Fest, Merlefest, Montreal Jazz Fest, Telluride Blues & Brews) and supported international acts such as The Black Keys, The Tedeschi Trucks Band, The Wood Brothers, Hot Tuna, and others.
