Ottawa-born percussionist Jeremy Gara is most well known as the drummer for
Arcade Fire, although he has participated in several projects in and around Canada.
Gara was originally the drummer for Keplar, a position he held from 2000 to 2005, before joining
Arcade Fire in 2006 in time for their second album, Neon Bible. While working and touring with one of Canada's biggest bands, he weaved in other work on the side, including stints with Clark,
Weights and Measures, and
Snailhouse. He put together his debut solo album, Limn, in 2016, focusing on electronic, often ambient tracks. He followed his debut with a second album in 2020, Passerine Finale. ~ Liam Martin, Rovi
