From high school musical theater geek to scream queen to industrial music muse, Jane Jensen has checked a lot of interesting boxes on her musical trek across terra firma. Her early love of poets, comic books, drum machines and guitars defined her unique approach to music that sways between dreamy landscapes and dark industrial complexes.
Jane Jensen’s music career began in Chicago with the release of “Sacrifice” a collaboration by Jane and industrial duo
Die Warzau. The track was included on an Invisible Records compilation put out by
Pigface bandleader Martin Atkins and then picked up by
Chemlab’s Fifth Colvmn Records. Her most notable release Comic Book Whore, was signed by Jimmy Iovine and released by Interscope. Jane toured the US and Australia tearing up clubs and festivals but not before establishing a solid presence in the New York club scene including the historic CBGB's.
Jane’s song "Luv Song" was prominently featured in The Good Wife episode "Cleaning House" where Kalinda famously vandalizes Blake's car. Jane's music has been featured in numerous film and TV spots including Fox Entertainment’s 911 and LA’s Finest, MTV spots, Universal Pictures Slither directed by James Gunn, Troma Cult Classics and more. Jane continues to write for film, commercial and television while developing her own unique brand of dreamy industrial music. Jane has toured and opened for many notable acts including
Moby Green Day Gravity Kills Filter and more.
