About:
An emotive singer-songwriter with a compelling voice, Daniel Pearson draws on rock, country and folk influences to craft timeless songs with the authenticity of a true artist. Over the course of two acclaimed albums and numerous singles, he’s switched between earthy Americana, beautiful indie-folk and fuzz-driven garage-blues, all unified by a knack for instinctive melodies and poetic hooks.
Influenced by genre heavyweights Bob Dylan, REM and Bruce Springsteen as well as 00s alt rock and the millennial folk revival, Daniel’s warm and immediate songs have been playlisted on key radio stations in the UK, USA and Australia. Writers for Uncut Magazine, PopMatters, The Daily Mirror, Baeble Music and No Depression have been quick to celebrate the arrival of a new voice in a series of rave reviews for his albums Mercury State and Alone, Together. A compelling live performer, Pearson has wowed audiences on tours of the UK and USA. He's also supported Mumford and Sons, Michael Kiwanuka, Frank Turner, The Felice Brothers, Caitlin Rose and Willy Mason, played numerous festivals and heard his music soundtracking TV shows around the world.
Since 2018, he's released a string of new singles each year in place of a traditional album or EP. These songs have featured prominently on Spotify Folk, Blues, Rock and Singer-Songwriter playlists and have racked up millions of streams.
