About:
Brian Angel is a Houston, Texas native who discovered a talent for singing at the tender age of three. With influences from Prince, Jodeci, Michael Jackson and more, Brian began his music career at 14-years-old when his singing group was given a record deal. Shortly after signing to the label, the company folded leaving them in search of their next opportunity. Eventually, they joined Matthew Knowles’s record label Music World Entertainment and were given the chance to open for Destiny’s Child. Further, his group at the time toured with Ginuwine, Jagged Edge, Avant, Joe, and Brian McKnight. After seven years with Mr. Knowles, the group felt it was time to venture out and decided to part ways.
In 2007, Brian Angel was a contestant on MTV’s hit reality show “Making the Band” for the chance to receive a recording deal on Sean “P.Diddy” Combs’s record label Bad Boys Entertainment. His persistence to succeed and his passion for singing allowed “Diddy” and spectators to see the unlimited potential within Brian. His determination awarded him a spot in the male R&B group called Day 26.
