Ben Labat & The Happy Devil are an Alternative Folk Rock band who have released 4 studio albums (A Face for Radio 2010, Soapbox Anthems 2012 and The Revival 2014 and Homeward 2017) over the last 9 years.
On any one of the songs on their debut album, A Face for Radio, and their sophomore effort, Soapbox Anthems, there are musical elements ranging from reggae to country, pop to folk. This is a direct reflection of both Ben and the band's appreciation and love for all modes of music. Their third album, The Revival, is an upbeat and powerful collective work reflecting the roller coaster ride.

From early on it became evident that Ben Labat’s talent could not be ignored. As the lead singer/songwriter of the band, The Terms, Ben worked with iconic rock producer and Grammy winner Greg Ladanyi (Fleetwood Mac, Jackson Browne, Don Henley) on their debut album.
Over the last several years, Ben has performed all over the US in the some of the most prestigious venues including The House of Blues and Tipitina's in New Orleans, New York City's Cutting Room, Los Angeles' Viper Room, The Exit in Nashville and has opened for Anders Osborne, Better than Ezra, Pat Green, Blue Traveler and The Iguanas among others.
As a songwriter, several of Ben's songs have been featured on CBS’s "The Ghost Whisperer", MTV's "The Real World" and "Jersey Shore", the Kevin Spacey produced film "Mini’s First Time", and "Middle of Nowhere" starring Susan Sarandon.
